“I don’t know why the report is taking so long.”

The report is taking so long because they want to insure that the police officers who made the arrest are seen in the most unfavorable light. If it is true that Gray was intentionally trying to injure himself or that he indeed had spinal surgery a week before his arrest there would be no police brutality charges.

I know that for sure. The longer it takes, the less credible it is likely to appear.

No one will be satisfied with the report... so it should have been expedited.

If he already had a spinal injury and he was banging about in the van, that could explain some of his injuries. Still doesn’t explain the damaged neck and larynx. Still doesn’t excuse the police neglect for failing to restrain him.

The autopsy report will reveal a lot, but it won’t come out for weeks.

It would take time to get access to his medical records.
