Online reports are swirling that Freddie Gray had spinal surgery shortly before he died in police custody, and had collected a payout in a settlement from a car accident. Those reports — which raise questions about the injury that led to his death in April 19 — point to Howard County court records as proof.
But court records examined Wednesday by The Baltimore Sun show the case had nothing to do with a car accident or a spine injury. Instead, they are connected to a lawsuit alleging that Gray and his sister were injured by exposure to lead paint.

Two separate law suits from two separate individuals including injured spines from ‘Baltimore rides’ by the police in 2012/13. Are you claiming Obama made this up? Google isn’t complicated look them up from the Shep Smith news story.
The subdued tone of the Mayor of Baltimore last night leads me to believe she KNOWS it was Freddie's violent movements in the back of that van that caused his own neck to break.

They were concerned they’d get bitten or spat upon (AIDS fears) so they chose not to cross paths with his body which is what they’d have to do to strap him in. They said they rarely strap anybody in. Standard practice not to.
That’s my theory but I’m sure the black officials will do all they can to avoid considering that theory. It’s entirely possible BECAUSE his legs and hands were shackled.

Suspects attempting to cause injury to themselves are pretty routine. They can make for some pretty nice settlements.
His injuries were apparently substantial enough to lead to his death. I have some confidence they’ll find what caused it.

Didn’t police admit stopping to put leg irons on the suspect ? If they had to drag him into the van by his arms, maybe the cops thought he was faking resistance ? I have no idea but that is obviously against proper law enforcement procedure.

I think the real goal is a “national police force” rather than race war. Holder and 0bama have both promoted the concept and there have been several policy papers hinting at that.
Obama even said, I can’t get a national police force, just like he said he could not unilaterally change immigration law (then he did).
I think it is become clear that this is one of those types who go to Wal-Mart and knocks off a jar of something on a shelf and then lays down on the floor and screams for help, from a partner with a cell phone camera. They then get a payoff from Wal-Mart to just go away. Yep, I have no doubt that he was banging himself up to prepare for his next big payday from the City of Baltimore. Luckily he went to far with it. So anyone who sheds a tear for this trash or uses it to justify lawlessness deserves to join him.
Good idea - but not totally practical. This site's part 'court of public opinion' - part Greek Chorus - and part Tea Party... and that's just for starters.
