‘We Will Not Obey’: Christian Leaders Threaten Civil Disobedience If Supreme Court Legalizes Gay Marriage

By Todd Starnes April 28, 2015 “We will not obey.”

That’s the blunt warning a group of prominent religious leaders is sending to the Supreme Court of the United States as they consider same-sex marriage.

“We respectfully warn the Supreme Court not to cross that line,” read a document titled, Pledge in Solidarity to Defend Marriage. “We stand united together in defense of marriage. Make no mistake about our resolve.”

“While there are many things we can endure, redefining marriage is so fundamental to the natural order and the common good that this is the line we must draw and one we cannot and will not cross,” the pledge states.

The signees are a who’s who of religious leaders including former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum, National Religious Broadcasters president Jerry Johnson, Pastor John Hagee, and Franklin Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse.

The pledge was co-drafted by Deacon Keith Fournier, a Catholic deacon, and Mat Staver, the founder of Liberty Counsel. Also involved in the document were Rick Scarborough, the president of Vision America Action and James Dobson, the founder of Family Talk Radio.

There is an objective difference between straight and gay “marriage”, a difference which IS in the interest of the state to protect for the former and not for the latter. Continuing the species (if only to sustain tax revenue) is; fond feelings alone, leading to absolutely nothing more than anal coupling or mutual masturbation, are not.

Reminds me of the very powerful "Test of Fire" youtube.

For those that may not have seen it, or just want to see it again, here it is.

Absolutely! We’ll turn it upside down.

Threating the tax status of churches and religious schools is the “line in the sand.” This is unlike Hussein Obama’s “lines in the sand.”

We will need to shut the system down. The supreme court and government won’t be able to do much without funding. It would be time for revolution.

WE WILL NOT OBEY! We will rebel, we will fight, we will die if necessary! In the name of God we will win over the evil that has taken this nation by storm.

What will they “not obey”? This ruling wouldn’t require them to perform gay marriages so how will they show their disobedience. I don’t get it.

John Roberts is on the other side, AGAIN

“Counsel, I’m not sure it’s necessary to get into sexual orientation to resolve the case,” Roberts said. “I mean, if Sue loves Joe and Tom loves Joe, Sue can marry him and Tom can’t. And the difference is based upon their different sex. Why isn’t that a straightforward question of sexual discrimination?”

Want to make the politicians s**t their pants?
Flags raising across the country with the slogan "We SHALL NOT Comply" in bold lettering across Revolutionary War backgrounds.
Those that do should be prepared to be singled out, or "made an example of".

One might ask.........

What is marriage?

The purpose of marriage is ultimately to glorify God since He tells us He made us for His glory (Isaiah 43:7). Marriage is the covenant union of a man and a woman for the purpose of committing to each other in companionship, provision of food and shelter, sexual privileges, CHILDREN, and protection.

Homosexuals “do not” have CHILDREN nor do they procreate.
Therefore, Homo’s should not have the right to marry!

God created Adam and Eve “NOT” Adam and Steve.
