The Office of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie confirmed Tuesday that members of the state's police force are heading to Baltimore to assist local authorities amid protests over Freddie Gray's death.
About 150 New Jersey State Troopers are set to travel to Charm City Tuesday -- the day a mandatory curfew will begin for all city residents.

Charm City??? I love how they just worked that in there. Personally, I've been there plenty and other than the immediate Waterfront, $hit City about sums it up for me.

Baltimore was already a dump the first time I saw it...in 1972.

“$hit City about sums it up for me.”
Pick a major black-run city today and that sums it up there too. They never show you the “real pictures” of their cities, only the few blocks of bling downtown.

I passed thru on Amtrak back in ‘91 and I was really less than impressed too.

I guess he hopes he won’t be needing them in one of his State’s failed cities real soon!

Baltimore could have the following slogan:
We even make the dumpiest parts of Pittsburgh look nice.

The protester rioters are getting just the opposite in what they wanted in Baltimore, more police presence..

Those poor NJ State Troopers.
Bad enough they have to live and work in Jersey. But to be sent to Baltimore?

Wonder if they’ll go in the tactical uniform or with the full Sam Browne/peaked cap mode?

City cops pelted with stones, black racist mayor green-lights the riots, state governor steps in with MDARNG troops, and now the state cops.
Plainly, the governor wants to keep the black shock troops bottled up inside the urban kraals, thus keeping safe the big DNC donors in the hinterlands.
Always follow the money.

Well, it has cancelled two Orioles games so far. That’s gotta hurt the restaurants and stores around Camden yards. Lots of missed tax revenue.....
To: KC_Lion
Pennsylvania is sending Troopers too.
