Wonder what the ‘mothers’ have to say about this.
Their idiocy knows no bounds.

“seven people” attacking one. This can only be feral street savages, since the article doesn’t tell us the one significant detail that would get them called racist.

One more stat that won’t be reported on the database of gun deaths each year.

I hope the police do look into the elder abuse all the same. Good for “Gene” btw.

An armed society is a polite (and safe) society.

When I was in my 20’s, I was taking a walk in a big city. It was about noon. I came across four urban “youths” who were crowding around an elderly man who had just left a bank. I was unarmed. And this was in the days before cell phones.
So I ran into a nearby store, and called police. Then I went outside and waited for the police to arrive. They never did arrive. And the youths moved on. I suppose they got what they wanted.
Looking back, should I have charged the group when I first saw them, while yelling at the top of my lungs? Probably.

"... The group surrounding the elderly man then turned their attention toward the armed customer and implored him to look the (other) way. According to Fox 16, the group kept yelling, [This] isnt your fight, you need to walk away and you need to put the gun down. This is a scenario where a hammer-fired pistol has more authority than a striker-fired pistol:
A hammer cocking back speaks volumes and shows you're serious without you having to say a word.
With a striker-fired pistol, all you can do is hold it on target while you verbally issue threats.

Mixed feelings here.
While the outcome here was good, it could have ended badly. What if Gene had to shoot? If he killed a man over a family fight?
Don’t CCW classes teach you only to draw if your life is threatened? (Or your loved ones?)
While it might be tough (or cowardly even) to walk away while an old man is beat, that might have been the best alternative.

In many cases it's as simple as.. THEIR level of INTELLIGENCE is probably at the level of a pack of wild dogs.
America has these problems because over decades we have continually LOWERED the bar on behalf of "poliitical correctness."

On April 22, a customer at a Kroger in Little Rock, Arkansas, saw an elderly man surrounded by seven people,... How many sons does Obama have, anyhow?

Why do they call the hero a “gun man” and say he “took the law into his own hands”?
