Worlds Longest Receipt is a boycott of Kroger whereby Moms Demand Action is asking supporters to shop at a Kroger competitor, then submit the receipt on a Moms Demand Action website to help keep a running tally.
Moms Demand Action founder Shannon Watts announced the boycott by saying:
Its a shame that Kroger President & COO Rodney Ellis and CEO W. Rodney McMullen will not listen to their customers and employees to follow the lead of their competitors and prohibit the open carry of arms in their stores In all states, businesses have an obligation to protect their employees and patrons and until Kroger steps up, Moms will put our money where our mouths are and shop at stores [that ban law-abiding citizens from openly carrying firearms].

Off to Kroger’s tomorrow. Friendly employees, great specials, wide selection, and now I get to stick it to those Moms Against Self Defense as well.
Guess they never heard of the law of unintended consequences.
Chick Fil-A is a great place to eat at, too.
It’s all a head fake anyway. Consolidate everything and the swooping socialists take over.
They don’t think Kroger does market research and isn’t aware of how much money is going to the competition?
“Moms Demand Boxcars” to the nearest “delousing” facility...
Compromise is for cowards!
Such an attitude is what the marxists thrive on!
Draw the line, stand firm, or continue to allow our rights to be eroded one little bit at a time.
Don't give up an inch. PERIOD!
Lady, there are states out west where the guns are inextricable from the culture. People carry them everywhere.
This sets the standard for the whole country. In other words, you ain’t getting our guns.
Or target, oh wait, they didn’t change anything either.
I’m tempted to put in some ridiculous amounts, say $1,776.02. See if the mad mommies get the refrence.
We love Kroeger - all the more.
Also KING SOOPERS. I walk to mine and always conceal carry.
My wife regrets that there are no local Krogers at which to shop.
Time for a BUYCOTT!!
We’ve made 2 trips to King Sooper’s today.
See post 40 to see if a local chain is owned by Kroger’s.
I want to support Kroger in any way I can, so I did a search for Kroger here in SC Pennsylvania. Was surprised to learn that the Turkey Hill Minit Markets are owned by Kroger. Well, I can support THEM. The last time I shopped an actual Kroger Food Market was in Seattle.
I looked. Nothing close.
Well I’m sorry about that.....if you want I can ship you some frozen food from Kroger’s Ohio...LOL
While this is a gnat sized irritant to Kroger, they should regard this a proxy attack by Bloomberg, and consider a “corporate counterattack” that could cost Bloomberg several million dollars.
Importantly, they have all the advantages in doing this, choosing the time, place, means, and method. They don’t have to do anything unless the opportunity presents itself to give Bloomberg a serious financial bruise, costing them little or nothing.
Heck, they could even use “plausible deniability”, so Bloomberg would think he just having a run of bad luck.
Just put in numbers equal to the national debt.
Late Saturday nite while channel surfing I landed on NatGeoWild and the Michigan Veterinarian, Dr. Pol. Mother’s Day was coming up and the son wanted to get his mother, Mrs. Pol a MEANINGFUL gift; not just flowers or candy. So he gave her a new revolver and ammo. When she opened the gift she opened the ammo, loaded her piece and did a little target practice. Booooyah!
I’ve never been to a Kroger’s store. The closest one to me is up in Winfield, Kansas. Next time I’m up there I think I’ll stop by.
