Seems to me if there aren’t any guns allowed to the common citizen or shop owner, there isn’t a defense against against hundreds of protesters who assure themselves of superiority before they even get riled up.

The one chance they had getting beat down was after the ball game when the patrons were going to be let out. But the police for some reason kept the potential from better odds and a real beat down (deserved) of them. In my opinion, it was a mistake that would have taught the protesters a very valuable lesson in numbers.

If the cops all take a day off, there’s no one around to enforce unconstitutional guns laws anyway.

I think the people who hate cops need to experience “Here’s what happens when we cops take a day off”.

... and the animals out there need about two days of “Here’s what happens when the cops take a day off and good civilians are packing heat”.

I could see several good results come of out those scenarios... including lots of overtime for the local Department of Sanitation.
