The new stadium for Atlanta is actually in Cobb County just north of the city in a part of that county that is among the richest in terms of commerce, business, hotels, etc. It is basically east/north of the junction of I-75 and I-285.
It will be interesting to see how patrons feel about their safety, etc. when it is finished. I suspect the police in Cobb County will expand their force and they will maintain a visible presence there. Atlanta’s urban denizens are dismayed at this. That and the fact they lost out on the deal up front.
Um....west of I-75 and north of I-285.
