In related news, in Germany, crime against Jews dropped by 90% from 1936 to 1946. I know the Nazi comparison is absurd, but so is the suggestion that paying Iran to finish developing nuclear weapons will make Israel safer.
Hummm. Let me think...Wait! In the 1973 Israeli/Arab war when the Israelis were pressed to the wall didn’t Nixon tell Golda Meir “use up your expendables, I’ll make them good?” I believe he did. Then Nixon ordered the Navy and air force logistics commands to a full-out emergency effort which landed a plane in Israel every few minutes until the war ended. It took three years to replenish the US inventory and until her death Golda referred to Nixon as, “My president.”
