The lesbian couple turned away by a Gresham bakery that refused to make them a wedding cake for religious reasons should receive $135,000 in damages for their emotional suffering, a state hearings officer says.

Rachel Bowman-Cryer should collect $75,000 and her wife, Laurel Bowman-Cryer, $60,000 from the owners of Sweet Cakes by Melissa, an administrative law judge for the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries said in a proposed order released Friday, April 24.

How many GoFundMe’s can we keep up with? This is getting insane what is happening in this country. The GoFundMe’s are great but liberals know we cant keep the pace and we shouldn't have to. WTH happened to this country? Cruz MUST take the primary as he is the only one who can articulate what we need to be said to rouse the troops .

Some folks use the tools available to make their statements - others use a high-pitched while about using those tools as their statements.

One group is actually trying to make a difference.

The other group just likes to whine.

Can you tell which is which?

Rachel Cryer and Laurel Bowman are shockingly evil. Acting on homosexuality, like neglecting the sabbath, is a sin but not evil. Persecuting the innocent and attempting to force free people to work as slaves converts that sin to pure, unforgivable evil. As for the administrative law judge, enabling pure evil is also unforgivably evil. I am perfectly willing to forgive these destructive people, as soon as they no longer pose a threat to the innocent, whether that is through genuine understanding of the harm they have done and sincere remorse, or due to the natural end that comes to all evil. I hope one or the other will happen soon.

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues.

Wouldn’t be surprised if this was a setup to make some headlines and grab some cash.

You are probably right on both accounts. I am sure I can't say what I really think.

No. just boycott Portland. Portland hates Christians. Boycotts only are effective when small and specific. if Christians across America got together to boycott Portland, it would make a difference. But we can’t ever get it together.

If we boycotted Portland, the hipster-haters there couldn’t afford their HEROIN.

It looks like donations may not go specifically to the Kleins...

There is a GoFundMe to help this persecuted bakery owner.

That just creates an incentive for more idiotic law suits like this one.

would be ironic if the person couldn’t pay off these people and now they will get paid through gofundme. In a way, it might make gays go after small businesses banking on a gofundme to get the their money.
I don’t thin I citizen’s job is to keep bailing out people from a bad law but fix the law. The money is better spent getting Cruz elected.
I donated to the pizzeria. That was the last time.

How many Jews actually follow the Torah, rather than 600+ some man-made laws the Pharisees were telling everyone they had to follow?

Do the Jews actually follow the Torah, or the Talmud?

Do they even follow the Torah, or have they become atheists?

They obviously started being bombarded by people who found that technicality.

I'm not a big fan of gofundme, but it can have its uses for those who wish to use money to either help a good cause or to make a political statement.

It's not our job to fund the businesses under attack, but it is our job to use our voice to stop the political reaming of businesses that opt to exercise their God-given Freedoms.

I agree. I think the funding of Ted is more important. I funded the pizzeria and now they are rich lol. The other lady got almost 200k. But I am not rich. I want to fund FR as it is a very important tool in the fight and Ted Cruz, as he might be the most important piece.
Like to help our wounded vets but I hear Wounded warrior doesn’t give a high percentage. I don’t know what to believe. was sent a site of charities that are really god supposedly for the vets by another freeper.
if thee are typos in this I apologize lo. headaches al day and going back to bed!!! FR and Ted rock!!!

This is an administrative complaint, not a criminal complaiint. As such, it goes through an administrative investigation, then a hearing where state assigned lawyer (called a hearing's officer. The official title is 'administrative law judge'.). His decision then goes to the Dept of Labor head, who can overrule and even increase the penalty to $150,000. This top guy is so liberal he makes Obama look like a moderate.
