Mitch McConnell to Conservatives: Drop Dead
Conservative HQ ^ | 4/24/2015 | George Rasley

Yesterday’s Senate vote on the confirmation of Loretta Lynch, President Obama’s nominee to succeed Attorney General Eric Holder, was a classic example of why talk among conservatives of forming a third party alternative to the establishment Republican Party will not die.

Not only did the usual jelly-backed Senate Republicans vote to confirm Lynch, they were led by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, whose job is, ostensibly, to be the leader of the conservative opposition to Obama and his lawless progressive agenda.

In moving the Lynch nomination McConnell broke a pre-election promise that no attorney general nominee would be considered in his Senate if that nominee supported Obama’s executive amnesty, something that Lynch testified she supports.

So McConnell’s vote for Lynch was a sort of “go to hell” moment that conservatives should recognize for what it is: Mitch McConnell saying directly to the conservative Republican grassroots and the conservative movement that opposed Lynch that, despite the fact that conservative voters handed back the Senate majority to the Republican Party in 2014 to make him Senate Majority Leader, he not only doesn’t care what they think, he will go out of his way to disrespect them and confound their policy goals.

Lynch, who testified under oath that she would readily carry out policies contrary to the Constitution could have – indeed should have – been stopped by Republicans in the Senate, but she wasn’t.

Yep, and I consider Boner, McConnell, Flake, et al far more evil than the left, because they know right from wrong, and sold their soul to the devil for money & power.

Yes, and then I indulge in my version of alternate reality and put on a hockey or baseball game to distract me.

It is the “Will to Power” that drives them all.

Like the abused wife, they will be back. As the Democrats know just the right phrases to use to get their base back on election day, so do the Republicans and their judas goat cadre. I do believe that the Democrats respect their base more than the Republicans respect their base, though. The Republican Party does not even pretend not to let their base the contempt they hold for them.

Or a quart of Everclear. Or a rather large bong. Or aome LSD.

Probably the acid since that trip most resembles the thinking of the average Freeper lately.

I had an email recently from a fellow poster who shall remain nameless asking what it was like back in the glory years here...what people were like. It really can be summed up in two words. Actually Conservative. I miss that.

BANG ON! Say that again. And. Often. So true!

Few remember to include Hollywood money and celebs, with corrupt politicians and a fallen culture. They are gaining power by perverting our young and the entire culture.

How did a site filled with people that stood in front of the Naval Observatory screaming “Get out of Cheney’s House” devolve into a site filled with people turning on their fellows and screaming “If you don’t vote for X-Rino you hate America” without a monsoon of lightning happening? Anyone wanna clarify that? I mean that happened...and still does. It’s not like it can be denied by anyone.

Interesting list. That way everyone (except hatch) can speak to different voters.

To conservatives: I did NOT vote for her confirmation (above the line). Or “I did NOT vote for cloture, which was the important vote.” (below the line).

Or vice-versa when talking to the liberal/moderates.

That one gets me. Its like saying “I voted to not stick the baby in the meat grinder idea pass but then when it did, voted to stick the baby in the meat grinder. Ultimately you killed the baby with your vote.

Of course on a side note, a lot of Yellowbacks keep voting for ACTUAL dead babies, and are fine with that, with every vote for the RINOs that go full squish on abortion.

They telly you lots of excuses, but there’s still a lot of dead kids their votes resulted in.

the only question is this

are the American people ever going to get up off their knees and reclaim liberty by dealing with tyranny and scum exactly the way our forefathers did ?
