Mitch McConnell to Conservatives: Drop Dead
Conservative HQ ^ | 4/24/2015 | George Rasley

Yesterday’s Senate vote on the confirmation of Loretta Lynch, President Obama’s nominee to succeed Attorney General Eric Holder, was a classic example of why talk among conservatives of forming a third party alternative to the establishment Republican Party will not die.

Not only did the usual jelly-backed Senate Republicans vote to confirm Lynch, they were led by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, whose job is, ostensibly, to be the leader of the conservative opposition to Obama and his lawless progressive agenda.

In moving the Lynch nomination McConnell broke a pre-election promise that no attorney general nominee would be considered in his Senate if that nominee supported Obama’s executive amnesty, something that Lynch testified she supports.

So McConnell’s vote for Lynch was a sort of “go to hell” moment that conservatives should recognize for what it is: Mitch McConnell saying directly to the conservative Republican grassroots and the conservative movement that opposed Lynch that, despite the fact that conservative voters handed back the Senate majority to the Republican Party in 2014 to make him Senate Majority Leader, he not only doesn’t care what they think, he will go out of his way to disrespect them and confound their policy goals.

Lynch, who testified under oath that she would readily carry out policies contrary to the Constitution could have – indeed should have – been stopped by Republicans in the Senate, but she wasn’t.

at the CPAC convention in 2014, that old lying bastard mcconnell begged, cried, and said he would be "nothing but a strong conservative" if he was re-elected and made majority leader of the senate.

typical lying traitor to the Constitution that violated his oath and should be removed and tried just like obama, boehner, and the rest of these anti-American scum.

This really is full-frontal contempt, McConnell and the rest of the GOP are making it clear to the most determinedly oblivious conservative that we can pizz off, if the Cochran/Barbour wasn’t enough to get the picture.

Two Congress Creatures walk into a Bar and sit down.

The Bartender moves over to their place at the Bar and asks “good evening gentlemen, nice to see you again tonight, would you like the usual?”

One of the Congress Creatures looks at the Bartender and says “It’s been a hell of day on the hill, we’ll take the usual and leave the bottles!”

The Bartender says “two glasses, One bottle of Kentucky Bourbon and a bottle of Orange Bacardi Rum coming right up!” as he serves out the drinks and leaves the two bottles on the bar.

One Congress Creature grabs the wild turkey by the neck and is interrupted by the other Congress Creature who Protests:

“Dammit John! Stop trying to strangle me!”

I think the TEA party should approach the democrat nominees against some of the the RINO’s and negotiate. Just a few strategic engineered losses should cure this RINO disease.

Living in Cincinnati, we get a lot of KY political ads. Recalling what McConnell promised to do relative to the conservative agenda, I hope the people of KY are hauling out the feathers and heating up the tar for the SOB.

My Flaky Senator just voted to confirm Lynch. He has permanently lost my vote. I now have both my Senators on by speed dial and will never vote for either.

Its really no longer war between R’s and D’s and liberals and conservatives. Its beoming increasingly clear its between the politician / celebs / elites and the peasants (or rest of us)

Methinks we’re going to have to fight our way to the top.

After all, these poseurs in leadership are entrenched and nothing is going to be handed to us. McConnell guarantees that.

I think we’re learning how to fight back. Mississippi was a fine battle and exposed a lot of corruption that none of us is going to forget, ever.

McConnell is said to be worth 28 million. No way could he amass that kind of wealth on a US Senator’s pay.

He needs to be investigated.

Bitch McConnell can go straight to hell and will find out just how far out of touch this RINO and his RINO herd in the Senate are with the American people!

RINO season in 2016!

EXCELLENT idea! That’s exactly what is going on in DC— what McConnell and Barbour already do.

Not bad at all. I’m impressed!

True but there’s no need to consort with the lesser evil (The Dems. All the Yellowbacks in conservatism need to do is vote for the conservative, win or lose. In a near 50/50 electorate, thats all it takes to dethrone GOP POS.

And the psuedocons are to gutless to do it.

McConnell needs to swing for this one. Conservatives need to conduct opposition research on McConnell, just like they would the most socialist leftist. They are both the enemy. McConnell must have corrupt deals and secrets that could benefit from the light of day.

Yes. That much seems plain. But there is something strange going on that the Rs no longer are even pretending to play the game. They can’t do an about-face in the next election from this kind of thing, and they don’t seem to care. There is some wheeling and dealing going on, there is convergence on something between the two sides of the uniparty, and amnesty seems to be the common denominator. Why the Rs are the only ones doing the caving, at least publicly, there is more to this story. I am wondering if there is actual, real, plain-spoken bartering going on over the Oval Office. What’s happening with Hillary is weird too.

I don’t understand the anger and frustration. The GOP told conservatives, in plain English, to pound sand prior to the election.

How much clearer could they possibly have made it than they did in Mississippi?

People either weren’t listening, or didn’t want to believe.

Is it clear enough yet?

He probably already was and that is why he is in Obama's back pocket.

bill o-really called her a ‘woman of high integrity’ or something like that last night- Funny how he missed her declaration that she will NOT do her job BEFORE she was confirmed- either that or he heard her declare that and still thinks she is a woman of integrity-
