I think a minimal requirement for being an “evangelical leader” is, you have to be at the very least a Christian.
If Campolo is evangelical, he is way out there far-far-left evangelical. That word pretty much means whatever you like these days.

And, if she did cut babies in half, it would have no effect on her poll numbers. If she did it on prime time NBC, it might enhance them.
