Michael Brown’s family files wrongful death lawsuit against Ferguson
Washington Post ^ | 4/23/15 | Mark Berman

The parents of Michael Brown, the unarmed 18-year-old killed last year by a police officer in Ferguson, Mo., filed a civil lawsuit against the city Thursday.

This lawsuit alleges that the officer’s actions violated Brown’s civil rights, and goes on to state that the city’s broader law enforcement practices “led directly to the unjustified killing.”

Brown was shot and killed last August by Darren Wilson, a Ferguson police officer. This shooting set off frenzied protests in the city, demonstrations that flared up again in November when a grand jury opted not to indict Wilson and again last month when the Justice Department cleared Wilson of any civil rights violations.

The suit has been filed. I have a copy of it, and would be happy to email to anyone who wants it. Just send me a FReepmail with your email address.

They need to sue the democrat party for the policies that led to Mike’s death.
Policies that incentivize fatherless boys.

Seriously? Sue Ferguson? The town was destroyed because of their thug son.

It's way past time for law enforcement, across the nation, to defend law and order. Or it'll be one very scary summer.

Oh, and... did they file a claim with the city which the city rejected prior to filing their suit?

Huntress :" The suit has been filed..."

I would rather see the State issue a 'counter claim' for physical and financial damages, investigation costs (State and FedGovt.), court costs , and emotional damage to the community.
Crump and Company should also be listed as co-respondants.

the unarmed 18-year-old killed last year by a police officer in Ferguson, Mo. It will never end will it. Now that bammy has his new DOJ gal pal it will be a fast horrible ride the next couple of years. Whitey will have to pay for all evils in the world.

Ideally, the city, but all the businesses, and their insurance companies, too.

Yep, the Democrats created “the hood” through their decades of welfare and keeping blacks as third-class citizens. But, if the Gentle Giant would have simply obeyed the officer and got on the sidewalk he’d still be breathing.

Lynch Mobs. That's exactly what they should be called, in honor of Holder-In-Pumps.

"Lynch" mobs.

What was wrongful about Brown’s death?

The EPA has joined in and apparently has a good case.

Excessive discharge of lead into the atmosphere. Remember to help preserve mother earth - head shots, head shots, head shots.
