As prosecutors argued Wednesday that Boston Marathon jihad mass murderer Dzhokhar Tsarnaev should get the death penalty, they released a video of the young jihadi three months after his attack, looking into the security camera in his cell, primping his hair in the reflection, and then flashing the V sign and then giving his middle finger to his jailers.

The system is wrong. The guy was nailed and basically confessed. The trial should have taken one day and he should have gone before a firing squad the next day.

Just like Hasan, Obama, and the corrupt EXEMPT, lying,
treasonous, selfserving GOP.

There are 2 crimes here. The second is the coverup. The media and the government are both involved in the coverup.

It was a curious court episode. The prosecution team really didn’t have to put up much evidence. I think they could have concluded their case after five days of evidence. The defense? At best, they had maybe four hours of stuff to present, but it didn’t really help the case in any manner.

As for the court decision on the death sentence...I doubt if it’ll take more than ninety minutes of discussions.

How the defense will lay out some stall plan and hope to take this to five to ten years is beyond me. The prosecution didn’t screw up and there’s not much to argue. I could see the sentence being carried out by spring of 2016 easily. Personally, I’d like for the guy to be put into a cell, with a similar type bomb and a one-hour timer on it. Let him get the same treatment.

A Robert Spencer says: He cannot “repent” without ceasing to be a Muslim, because Islam teaches that what he did was a religious act.

I hear this penalty phase is going to take weeks, Thanks to defense counsel. Why? How much mitigating evidence could these attorneys possibly have? Is there really an army of witnesses out there to testify what a good guy Tsarnev is and why he shouldn't get the death penalty?

Look on social media.

All the ignorant college chicks who thought he looked sooooooo dreamy and cute in his pics.

The Chinese used to do it this way. The condemned is left in this box. It takes a very long time to die.

A firing squad is too honorable. He should be hanged, if he is to be executed. Otherwise, I like the Chinese box method for folks like him. Give him weeks and weeks to think about his life.

I agree, he should already be under the earth.

Too bad for that pretty boy, but in prison he is going to wind up as the "sweetheart of the regiment".......so to speak.

Yes I did hear about that. And I understand some of the victims and victims’ families want his life to be spared. Yeah, right, so the taxpayers can foot the bill to keep him alive for years.

in a supermax he’d prob be in cell 23 hrs a day. Maybe Terre Haute IN if he gets death penalty, Colorado if life w/o parole. Many people online (facebook) etc are saying he should not be put to death (incl. some victims’ relatives). He should thus be rewarded with room and board, meals for the rest of what could be a long life while the victims are denied this. “Oh we’d be just as guilty if we put him to death”, they say.

Look at the pictures online to see what he did and the stories I’ve heard are repulsive. Placing a backpack behind a family with an 8 yr old child. People with legs blown off. A man with one eye hanging out —a bb in his head that can’t come out because if it did he’d die, and it could still drop and kill him (as heard on Howie Carr radio show). It’s not revenge it’s punishment and a deterrent and I don’t want him to be paid to live in a prison with my tax money.

Obama will intervene and have him sent to Gitmo, and then release him next year.

Indeed; reminded of case of 2 pedophiles who kidnapped 10 yr old Jeffrey Curley of Cambridge MA, killed him, had sex with his dead body, dumped him in river. Curley’s father Robert pushed for a revival of the death penalty in MA (derailed by one vote) then changed his mind feeling morally he was against the death penalty. His 10 yr old son was innocent but paid a death penalty of his own...the two scumbags still breathe.

>>Convict Charles Jaynes and the father of the Cambridge boy he murdered in 1997 faced each other in a courtroom today as Jaynes asked a judge to legally change his name to reflect his new Wiccan spirituality.

Jaynes has asked to change his name to Manasseh-Invictus Auric Thutmose V. But Robert Curley, father of murdered 10-year-old Jeffrey Curley, spoke out against the request in Plymouth Probate and Family Court.

Curley said Jaynes, a 37-year-old former Brockton resident, had used aliases in the past to avoid detection by law enforcement.

“He’s a master at this,’’ Curley told Judge Catherine P. Sabaitis. “The things that make Charles Jaynes so dangerous is the well-spoken words he had today, the nice, soft demeanor he has today.’’

“But I tell you, Charles Jaynes is the face of evil, pure evil, and that’s what makes him so dangerous,” Curley said.Jaynes and a friend, Salvatore Sicari, kidnapped and smothered Jeffrey Curley and then tossed his body into a river in Maine, hidden inside a container.
