Schultz said that the coffee chain will open a store in what has been an epicenter of racial tension in the U.S., one month after unveiling its controversial Race Together campaign.
Starbucks baristas may not be writing Race Together on customers coffee cups anymore, but CEO Howard Schultz certainly isnt done talking about the nations touchiest topic.

I understand they will not serve the Flat White there, or any Whites for that matter.
Batista pay should be high, as it is combat pay. All money over 50 bucks will likely go into a drop slot safe, especially after 5 or 6 pm.
Tried it once. Dumped it before I got out of the parking lot.
The paving crew was there the next week, patching that spot
:)
Does Starbucks take EBT CARDS?
It already is. "De-creamed" is the new black. Or is it un-creamed? I don't care. Next time I want black coffee somewhere, guess what? I'm ordering black coffee.
He’s going to build the store out of asbestos.
The OP said no coffee at Starbucks under $5.00. I addressed the issue, you did not.
I wouldn’t know about the price. Never buy it.
I just know it was the worst coffee I ever tasted.
I remember watching Ferguson on the news and thinking, “They really need more caffeine.”.
Blacks don’t respond to this “investment in the community”; when Newark NJ built a minor-league stadium and resurrected the “Newark Bears” (to “bring back” Newark), the permanently-unassimilated ethnic malcontents complained they didn’t want jobs selling popcorn. The team eventually folded; now the stadium just sits there. The aquarium and battleship (New Jersey) were supposed to “revitalize” Camden; it didn’t work.
These are just thinly-veiled attempts to keep white consumers in fallen areas after 5 pm; most whites know better.
I’m sure the store will quietly close shortly after the first “barista” is murdered during an armed robbery.
So I give it about a month...
If I was an investor in StarBucks...I’d think this was a bad business move.
...but they won’t.

Good. Because my day is incomplete without his haughty opinion.
Leading from behind, is not leading!
Lost or not.
I wonder if his baristas there will only be skilled martial artists, or will just ignore his no guns directives?
I kind of like the martial artists idea. Imagine when the first batch of armed robbers bursts through the door only to get their arms and legs broken.
Some former ROK Teukgong Moosool experts. That would be a hoot.
Funny!
I can just see the lowest performing Starbucks employee getting demoted and moved to the Ferguson store!
Last year or the year before, there was a Trader Joe's that wanted to move into Portland, Oregon. And, as expected, the professional agitators raised a fuss and protested that they remain opposed to any development in Portland that did not primarily benefit the black community.
How do grocery stores "not benefit" the black community? They provide FOOD that is not expensive. How is that not beneficial to the black community? Plus they provide JOBS. How is that not beneficial to the black community? They accept welfare EBT cards. How is that not beneficial to the black community?
I am too stupid to figure this out why they would oppose a business that is both providing jobs and selling food.
LOL!
Liberal elitist white trash have no idea how the world really operates.
This store will last a month.
