Wednesday is Earth Day. Like Earth Hour in March, this celebration will be yet another complaint-fest about how our modern lifestyles, especially our CO2 emissions, are destroying the planet.

Why not be positive, for once? Instead of blaming carbon “criminals,” maybe Earth Day should celebrate carbon heroes.

Here are the 10 countries with the lowest CO2 emissions per capita, according to the World Bank.

The brain child of Ira Einhorn who murdered his girlfriend and fled to Europe.

Arlen Specter was his attorney... ha! small world... i was so glad when Einhorn was finally extradited... i have always hated that his girlfriend went back "one last time," to the apartment... that usually proves to be fatal...

Looks like the U.S. needs to pick up the pace to help prevent another glaciation period. I’m tryin’ to do my part.

This is how all of us little people making up the 99.9% are supposed to live, while the 0.1% making up the leftist elite nomenklatura have their Algore mansions.

The brain child of Ira Einhorn who murdered - then composted her in his apartment closet , that then stunk the whole apartment building ... his girlfriend

So if you want to be an Earth Day Hero, you have to live in a mud hut in a subsistence farming culture and expect to die by the age of 55 or 60.

“They’re smiling but they ain’t happy.”

Don't be so sure. Because of the deplorable conditions, no liberals will live there, nor do they have any liberal media.

I don't know that I'd give up every vestige of modern life just to be rid of liberals, but I will admit the thought has occurred to me.

Here is how I read this list.
North Korea and Yemen are pushing Global Green Tax.
Terrorism funded by taxing Americans and the West.

The Toons clearly have their hands in North Korea.
Obama in Yemen.

Hmmmm

I confess I didn't read the article. But as you can see, I got several of them right just by guessing. The criteria for my guesses were that the countries were third-world sh_tholes with no appreciable industry, probably African, and hopelessly antiquated.

Since every one of these dumps is in Africa, it would seem that that continent has the lowest carbon emissions in the world, not odd at all considering it hasn't advanced much past the Stone Age in the last 4,000 years.

My list was invented from my imagination. I did not consult the article's list but made my own guesses.

Nevertheless, I agree with you.

“Stop calling it Earth Day. It’s Vladimir Lenin’s Birthday.”

April 20th - also Hitler’s birthday.

They changed the calendar in use since Lenin was born, now Wikipedia reports him being born on the 22nd, but I remember it used to be the 20th.

Global warming?

Just checked and it’s -71 degrees Fahrenheit at Vostok, Anarctica. BTW, it’s the 2nd month of Autumn (southern hemishphere).

I know the progressives lurkers will be confused about this. But they came to the right place on the web to get an education.

That reminds me, I have to go outside and throw some more truck tires and cans of unused paint on the bonfire. If I don’t keep the fire up, all of the garbage in the pile won’t burn completely.

Please disregard my previous post, I had the wrong date for Earth date - it is the 22nd.

Coincidentally, the first Earth Day was the 100th anniversary of Lenin’s birth.

I just change oil in my tuned F250 Powerstroke (15 quarts) and dumped it down a gopher hole and burned the filter in an old 55 gallon barrel that used to have axle grease in it.

After that I ate two bowls of chili for lunch..

Happy earth day all!
