State AG Patrick Morrisey
State House Speaker Tim Armstead
State Senate President Bill Cole
Rep. David McKinley
(one of those will be probably the next Governor instead)
Plus
Rep. Evan Jenkins
and Rep. Alex Mooney
Both of them will only be sophomore Congressman at that point but the state will be going down to just 2 seats in 2022 so it’s likely one or more of the Congressman will try to move up.
Jenkins is former rat. Mooney is a solid conservative but newcomer to the state. McK hasn’t been great but is better than Capito. I don’t know about the state office guys, but it’s so nice the GOP has the legislature now.
Mentioned today on Politics1 that the richest person in WV, Democrat Jim Justice, wants to buy the Governorship. What’s that I hear about the GOP being the party of the rich ?
