Charles and David Koch are considering throwing their massive wealth and sophisticated organization into the Republican presidential primary for the first time, a potentially game-changing boost that could make even a second-tier candidate instantly viable. In another surprise, a top Koch aide revealed to POLITICO that Jeb Bush will be given a chance to audition for the brothers support, despite initial skepticism about him at the top of the Kochs growing political behemoth.

I’m glad the Koch brothers have some moderately conservative principles, but there should be no kingmakers in this country. And what’s their stand on illegal migration, abortion, guns, fruits
Stay outta da Bushes.
If they are giving Jeb an audition, I assume they will give one to Hillary! too.
Sorry...this is all Dhimmicrat wet-dreams. Is C19Fan a cloaked Dhimmi?
This URINALIST at Politico is dreaming up scenarios that DO NOT and WILL NEVER exist.
The Koch Brothers run a conglomerate/corporate concern; they will provide financial advancement for that concern. Included within that concern is the impact of regulation and, correspondingly, that impact on shareholder value. THAT SIMPLE CONCEPT is what drives the Koch Brothers in the political world.
They will NOT audition politicians in exchange for their corporate favors.
FReepers should not fall for this line of BOVINE SCATOLOGY.
Run away...run FAR away...
Why should I care anything about the Koch brothers anyway?
That said, however, I always find it amusing around FR that most FReepers complain endlessly and bitterly about the bias of media, yet unquestioningly (and unfailingly) accept whatever premise, no matter how flawed or false, is advanced in a given media diatribe. A very weird dichotomy.
The Koch brothers jumped in with Scott Walker yesterday...and are now nuzzling up to Bush.
Will they swing their support around to Ted when he Cruz’s past Walker and Bush?
I love this time of year. Watch Left and Right Billionaires choose who will do their bidding.
No. DON’T do it.
>> Will Jeb sing a song ? Juggle. Tell jokes ?
...lie like a rug?
The Koch Brothers are pro-SSM. They won’t give to Hillsdale.
I used to work for a huge law firm that had its own PAC. The PAC financed candidates of both parties. Seemed odd to me until one of the attorneys explained it. Actually makes good business sense.
I wouldn’t deign to offer him an audition to cut my grass, frankly. He can go home and speak Spanish for all I care.
“Why should I care anything about the Koch brothers anyway?”
Because just as easy as tossing a hundred mil at Bush, they could just as easily send it to Cruz.
