The left won’t admit it, but Obama has done serious damage to the Democrats. I think the party is slowly dying. I believe that a Hillary! Candidacy will be the final nail.

Who is the future of the Democrat party?

They found a model that works. The Democrats will never nominate another straight white male again.

If you criticize Obama, you’re a racist.

If you criticize Hillary, you’re sexist, or a misogynist.

After that they’ll have to put up Barney Frank to keep it going.

Wish you were correct, Cowboy Bob, but I live close to DC and the only change I have seen in dems is their hard lurch to the left. If being a dem means being called a socialist, then they are fine and dandy with socialism. Most I know are doubling down. By the time they figure out they are embracing a path to communism, complaining about it will get them a one-way trip to a gulag.

Used to, the short definition of Communism was “From each according to his means, to each according to his needs.”

Now it’s “Something for nothing.”

Go through the south and look at regional and state candidates. City council jobs might still go Democrat, but state attorney general, Governor, representatives and state senators are mostly going Republican. Sheriff races might still be a fifty-fifty thing....but simply attaching yourself to the Democrat Party isn’t a big positive right now.

The Hillary-run? It doesn’t charge up any rebuilding or enthusiasm.

Looking for alternates to Hillary? Few (O’Malley, Webb and Warren). You can’t find any governors who have the potential to move up or forward.

Unless the Republicans really screw this up....I see the next twelve years as mostly Republican wins. The 2020 census has big potential because several blue-states will be losing one representative each, and several red-states will be gaining one representative each.

Maybe urban battles around Atlanta, Nashville and Houston will keep some active Democrats going in the south, but it’s a negative period for the next decade.

Rush’s best observation is the one about how H! has to ride this out because everybody is all in with their money on her. She has more than doubled down with multiple felonies hanging, awaiting a brave US attorney to make his bones. As to whether this broadly harms the ‘Rats, we can only hope...

I’m not worried,I know Hillary is going to take care of the middle class, seniors, gays,I mean I can’t be to far down on her list that she has to take care of,right? I haven’t donated to the Clinton Foundation but that won’t make a difference right?
Those donations were just to help the poor and seniors and everything, that’s me,I can’t wait for Hillary to be my Champion, too bad Ambassador Stevens and the Navy Seals in Benghazi didn’t donate to the Clinton Foundation,I guess ISIS was higher on her list

Hillary is just one democrat how many others are doing much the same maybe at a lesser degree but still profiting, of course obama goes without saying unless you ignore the obvious, and it appears by association some Rino’s may also be profiting; there is an appearance of at the least collusion, if support for democrat policy is any indicator.

I would assume the Clintons are the tip of the iceberg standing out for all to see, easily observable to those willing to look; yet beneath is a behemoth the likes of which sank the Titanic, the question is will they be able to continue navigating around such horrendous obstacles.

That’s right, and the dems would have to have morals and ethics to believe something is wrong. This is why they still win. No matter what their candidate says or does, they still vote for them, while you see our side eat our own. Saw plenty of that right here on FR the last presidential election...

The treasure trove of "The 2014 Midterm Democrat
Demolition Derby" and down-ticket state wins have
yet to be fully-realized, but this we know:

DEMS DEFEAT WAS GENERATIONAL
REPUBS HAD STUNNING HISTORY-MAKING VICTORIES

<><> midterms were a massive and awesome rejection of liberals;

<><> Southern Democrats control not a single governorship, US senator or legislative chamber,

<><> Democrat losses stretch from the Carolinas westward to Texas,

<><> 110 Of 140 Southern States election districts went Republican.

<><> GOP's House majorities are so huge and solid NBC's Chuck Todd says Dems can't recapture losses until 2022.

<><> Some pundits say Republicans have a 100-year majority;

<><> when the next US Senate convenes, 30 lock-stepping Democrats who voted for Obamacare are gone.

<><> Ark and Ill (Clinton hometowns) have Repub governors---important in a prez race b/c guvs control party machinery.

<><> Unprecedented MINN 6th Congressional district---every single House and Senate district went Repub

<><> GOP now controls the MINN State House.

<><> Ohio's historic GOP statehouse takeover (Gun Control is toast)

<><> Ohio's Gov, Lt. Gov, AG, Secy of State, State Auditor, State Treasurer--all R---Sup/Ct - 6 R/1 D

<><> Britt Hume sez: "latino vote is zilch"---"over-50" is significant 30% voting segment.

<><> Republicans unified control: gov/legislature in 23 states (Ntl Conference of State Legislatures factoid).

<><> Repub governorships: Florida, Tx, Ill, Ohio, Mich, MD, Wisconsin, NC, GA, Mass.

<><> GOP holds every congressional seat in Arkansas; first time in 141 years...

<><> Environmentalists fogged out---suffered huge losses.

<><> Gun Control Candidates blitzed.

<><> "War on Women" became a ntl joke.

<><> Clinton's labeled politically useless---most candidates they flacked lost.

<><> Montana, So/Dakota and West/VA Dems were forced to retire; no hope of getting re-elected,

<><> Arizona House recount race went Republican.

<><> AZ Republican McSally wins last open House seat (Dem Gaby Giffords seat),

<><> Repub McSally's win gives GOP 5-4 advantage in AZ congressional delegation,

<><> Repubs hold 247 House seats (Dems 188), the largest GOP advantage since the Truman admin after WWII.

<><> 73 percent of LA's white voters say told they "strongly disapproved" of the president.

<><> Republicans hold the largest House majority in 83 years.

<><> Republicans holds 68 of 98 state legislative chambers.

<><> 2015 Republican grip on state government has not been seen since the 1920s.

<><> Republicans hold or share control in nearly every state (7 states' legislature and Governor are Dem-held).

<><> 12 states, including Missouri, Arizona, Arkansas, NC will push income tax cuts and fiscal reform.

<><> Illinois’ new Repub Governor’s top priority is reforming its nearly-bankrupt public pension system.

<><> Vermont Democrats allied w/ VT conservative Repubs to ward off voter backlash

<><> controversial and seemingly incompetent VT Democrat governor did not get the requisite votes to stay in office.

<><> VT poised to install Vermont's first Republican governor in over four years

<><> Republicans now control two-thirds of the state legislatures.
