The Footwear Cadets Were Allegedly Forced to Wear During Political Event March Has Sparked an Uproar
IJReview ^ | April 20, 2015 | Juan Leon

Making the general public aware about tough issues that need addressing is obviously a good thing. But there’s a right way and a wrong way to go about doing it. A Reddit post supposedly containing a message from the cellphone of a cadet has raised questions concerning an allegedly mandatory ROTC event. In the “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” event, cadets were required to wear high heels and march to “raise awareness of sexual assault against women.”

Wow, imagine the pictures of this in Russia or Iran.

Think that is going to make them respect or feat America?

By the way, what stunt are they going to do to bring awareness of soldiers who have been sexually harassed by Gays?

There still needs to be more verification of the alleged incident, and coming from reliable, known sources.
It this is verified, I will have much, much more to say.

“Reportedly ordered by Brigadier General Peggy Combs, commanding general of the Army Training Center.”

If so, F’her with Bammbi’s tool, and then incarcerate the bitch in Leavenworth.

"O’s perverts....."

Not the cadets ... what's perverted is that no one is left who will stand up and speak out about this kind of stuff...

" One worries that the real reason might actually be to intimidate and humiliate our troops.

One wants our precious active duty (and this includes Cadets) men and women to "hang in there", better days are ahead, and to let all relatives and friends to know what's going on, and to vote GOP (assuming a conservative candidate) in 2016."

2016 will be the line in the sand... if it's a dem, it's over - not just for the military - a lot of American ideals, pretty much America all together.

Except every day it gets worse.

"This is ridiculous. Is it a surprise that our enemies don’t fear us and our allies don’t trust us anymore? Our Military deserves better than this disgusting display of political correctness!!"

It's not Military with a capital M anymore, it's all small m.. I think our enemies do fear the troops if they are unleashed and come face to face at them ... they don't fear obama and are probably comfortable dealing with people like him... every dictator has a sweet spot.

"More men are raped in the military than women and the number of rapes has risen since DADT was repealed.

This commander should be ashamed of herself, is showing that she truly is sexist, and has no place in our military. Ridiculing men is not the answer. I’ll be gritting my teeth in my sleep."

I find myself feeling the same way, but I won't allow it. These true young men and women, and the true old-timers, are made of pretty sturdy stuff ... most of the ones I know are just laughing it off - trying to publicly anyway - and contemplating... I don't think this is a good thing for the democrats ... strong men and women contemplating.

"The only way to have true equality is to force every female between the ages of 18 and 55 to register for the draft.

No waivers for pregnancy or being a mother.

Right now, we have these dumbass feminists slapping the military around because they don’t have to worry about getting their heads blown off in a war.

Draft some of them and put them on point. Just like the old Toyota commercial, “You asked for it and you got it....death.”

I don't think importing sewage is the answer. Drano, that's something different... President Ted Drano Braino Cruz... I just made myself smile :)

"What the hell is wrong with these cadets? I would literally have taken the head off of a person who ordered this. The leftists have won if there is no resistance."

I think they are some young men and women caught in a very difficult place, trying to make it through. I don't think this whole fiasco predicts how they will react in the future when the real SHTF. People surprise you.

A few comments from the Army board:

*** "I get it, it looks fucking stupid that all these cadets seem to be cooperating with their CoC with little resistance. However, it should be noted that any little dumb infraction in cadet land can result in the dis-enrollment of a cadet if the PMS feels like it. It seems like no one ITT understands what the consequences are of being dis-enrolled by a PMS. A cadet with an SMP contract with the guard/reserve is still obligated and has to go to basic/ait if he/she hasn't done so as the rank originally enlisted as. Meaning, after they graduate with their new four-year degree, they're still going to basic as a PVT/PV2 if they joined early on during school. They still have to play summer camp with other privates every drill weekend and mop the floors the officers hang out in their desk chairs on. It fucking sucks. If there's any cadets ITT who want to leave the program with a contract, I fucking beg you not to do it. You don't want to be stuck with some shitty MOS you got from what was left in the guard that doesn't give you any job skills and playing private at drill/daycare mopping floors with your four-year degree."

*** "Its exactly why I put up with that bullshit. There's literally nothing you can do but suck it the fuck up and realize that the grass is totally fucking greener on the other side. You'll be infinitely more happier in the Force/AR/NG than you ever will be in ROTC*

*Unless you're the brown noser in your program.

Lots of interesting cadet comments here:

"It’s been a whlle since we’ve had a bona fide..fearless patriot as a Presidential Contender!

I get a real good sense that Ted can take more than all the hear these human debris can throw at em and smile while doing so!!"

I like Walker because he's got the eye - he's been through it a few times, and I think that's invaluable when things get real...

but, oh, my heart belongs to Ted - Carville said he was fearless... I say he never misses a detail - not missing a detail leads to derailing - derailing leads to democrats crying please stop ... oh, my heart belongs to Ted. However, my first love is and remains Newt. I am nothing if not loyal :)

"Baptist connections, correct?

From the Conwell information:

In 1876 he formally committed to the ministry, becoming the full-time pastor of a frail Baptist church in Lexington, Mass., immediately reviving it and putting it on its feet financially. Conwell was formally ordained in 1879 at the Newton Seminary."

Very interesting post, but I have no idea what you're talking about... though I do love Newton Leroy Gingrich :)
