We are lousy with coytes here in GA. We had one take a run at our Chihuahua one night. I just scooped her up and flashed the flashlight on the coyote. It faded away into the darkness. A couple of weeks ago we had a Bobcat come out from behind a bush and come at the dog. The crazy dog was trying to attack the Bobcat. Mr. GG2 almost had to draw down on it.

See, this is one reason I personally wouldn’t get a really small dog. They don’t realize they are at a disadvantage in situations like that, because they still have the same protectiveness and loyalty of a full size dog, so that can get them in trouble.
