The states are a different story. Each state is subject to its own state constitution and the will of the people of that state. If enough people in your state agree with you, then you can push for that kind of state legislation if needed.

Yep, I'm talking the way things "should" be. As things "are", every State is another "battleground" to get things fixed.

There's so much money involved, with vendors and contractors and big co's wanting their products to be legally mandated (like auto insurance for example)... that's why it's so difficult to get government "out" of something one it's "into" it.
