NEW YORK (CNNMoney) —Jon Stewart hasn't said much about quitting "The Daily Show" -- until now.
In an interview with The Guardian newspaper, Stewart said he's been enjoying his hosting duties less and less and feeling more pessimistic about the subjects of the show -- politics and the news media.
"It's not like I thought the show wasn't working any more, or that I didn't know how to do it," he said. "It was more, 'Yup, it's working. But I'm not getting the same satisfaction.'"
Stewart added: "These things are cyclical. You have moments of dissatisfaction, and then you come out of it and it's OK. But the cycles become longer and maybe more entrenched, and that's when you realize, 'OK, I'm on the back side of it now.'"

Maybe it became less fun the more of his soul he had to sell to keep that crap show on the air.
Hint John: It’s not cutting edge to trash Christians, Conservatives, and anyone else who realizes Obama is the naked Emperor, spending 98% of your show time doing that, and 2% on things less than treason when treason was on the table.

One would hope. If that were the case, he could have had a good show addressing real problems with candor.
I think he quit because he knew he would be expected to shill for Hillary.
Doing the same schtick before an audience of clapping seals has to get old after a while. Even bimbos want to be taken seriously.
Maybe he finally got old enough to be embarrassed by having a fan base of adolescent dullards.
Maybe it was over his “joke” about the mud slides in Italy coming up to the hair in the Italian women’s armpits. I heard his hateful attempt at humor. No media outrage at the time. He is an ignorant talentless a$$hole.

Or maybe he’s just smart enough to realize that the team he was playing for was starting to be seen as a miserable failure and was putting everyones lives and way of life in mortal danger.

Not only get rich fast, but the path to political power. Obama was elected twice. It was a very stupid action that may lead to the demise of Western Civilization.
