I have started getting captcha requests this message after GOOGLE searches:
Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot.
I do a lot of searches. I especially look up places on maps after reading news items about geographic regions I'm not entirely familiar with. For example, yesterday I met someone from Bulgaria at a store. Even though I had a vague idea where Bulgaria is, today I googled it on Google to pick up a map to see where it is in relation to other countries in Europe (farther east than I realized). All of this is completely innocent yet I feel am being treated as some kind of threat?
This just started happening yesterday. Has anyone else experienced this?
Looks like time for a scan. Double check the address bar, I bet it’s not actually google, you got some malware redirecting you.
Possibly that you have some malware that’s using your computer as a bot. Check your firewall logs to see what kind of traffic is leaving your PC.
Instead of google, try using GoodSearch.com
Just curious, are you using Windows IE?
Nope, never saw anything like that and I use Google exclusively.
Thanks
I get those, what I do is switch to a different search engine (yahoo) and the next day google works again. I’d like to find a good not google search engine that does not track my every move on the net.
I will not use google. It’s just a spy agency for advertisers, as is gmail. I use Ixquick. Very private. Does track your IP not are there any cookies. Check out their policies at;
There’s a good chance it’s a legit message from google:

Most likely you have contracted some malware that’s pounding google with automated searches. It’s also possible another computer on your local network has the problem, as remote sites only see a single source IP address for all your computers, and it’s even possible the problem is on a neighbor’s computer attached to your WiFi, if you have WiFi and your WiFi has no passphrase and is therefore providing free internet service to the neighborhood.
Oops!
“Does track your IP not are there any cookies. “
Should be , “Does NOT track your IP. nor are there any cookies”
Thanks all, I am checking some things out
Maybe someone can help me too.
I have android and now, that is lately,

is small, small type. This doesn’t happen on
my PC. any ideas?
thanks t.
The next time you are not using your computer, leave it on, and when you return look at your browsing history to see if it has been browsing while you were gone.
Or, look at browsing history now and see if you can identify any websites that you know you didn't visit.
If your ISP has a tool that lets you monitor your bandwidth usage, you can notice an increase in bandwidth usage over your historical average. Like a tripling of bandwidth usage.
Why are you using Google to begin with!?
