A military veteran was reportedly detained and charged by Valdosta State University police in Georgia Friday after she took an American flag from a group of protesters who were walking on it.

Run from this school. If this is how the other students act the degree will be worthless in the long run.
These others will be trouble makers where they work and that will be associated with her degree. Plus I cant imagine that this other group will be learning to much at the school except hate.

I wish more posters would clarify WHERE these types of events are happening.
I could guess .. but sometimes there is no reference as to where the event is taking place.

If they are offended by America, American culture, the American flag, the government and other authorities tell them it is okay to trash
our flag, run amok and insult us.
If an American is offended by their racism, violent Muhammadanism, communism or anti-Americanism our own government and other
authorities tell us to suck it up and shut up.
They have no clue what real slavery is.
The indoctrination efforts of our state run “educational system” are proving quite successful.

As with most reports of events like this one, the real question is, will the sheep *ever* rise up? Why was the vet the one single person there who cared?
I think (if it were a practical possibility) that a couple of *Americans* ought to catch one of those “slaves” in a back alley and demonstrate the kind of physical treatment that real slaves receive.
Let me get this straight....these “protestors” were offended by the American Flag, calling it a symbol of slavery, but never mentioned the countless soldiers killed in the Union Army, carrying that same flag (albeit with fewer stars) whose actions help free their ancestors from slavery?
Don’t confuse them with facts!
EVERYBODY - Please write to this college and voice these complaints. We must get together and do something. This just should not be allowed without us stating our views about it. They have a contact page to write something.
Colleges are the center of hate for this country.
Soon it will be a crime to be a natural-born US citizen.

when i came back from nam and watched anti war demonstrators i had the feeling that FREEDOM is worth fighting for but a large portion of US cits are not worth fighting for......

Well, that’s weird because all I saw was “Valdosta” and I never saw the word “Georgia”.

At this point in history, they’re not taught that—and other true, factual, pertinent and absolutely necessary American History, at any level of public schooling nor public or private college / university, with the exception of schools of learning that have a base of instruction rooted and grounded in Judeo-Christian, Biblical, and Constitutional belief and instruction.
As we all know, the System of Learning in the United States has been invaded by the virulent virus of socialism, communism, islamo-facism, anti-Semitism and also the spirit of antiChrist (a truly horrific viral combination), which from my view has reached full viral load (the stage at which the infected entity’s system is fully compromised and at the highest point of illness).
It grieves me as well, and I pray that this once-great Nation will awaken and repent as when Jonah was sent to Nineveh, and they wept, prayed and repented (even going as far as even putting sackcloth on their animals as well as themselves in their show of grief for their wicked ways).
But Nineveh eventually went back to their wicked ways, and was destroyed.
Is it time to start flying our Nation’s Flag upside-down as a nationwide show of the fact that we are truly in distress?
