Since when do we want our President to be normal. I want them to be extraordinary. Heck if we all wanted a president to be normal day to day person we would all run. That meme is so silly now a days. I hardly think that Reagan was normal in the fact that he could relate to the poor on the street. I don’t want that. I want somebody not normal and who is extraordinary.
Note the armored vans very dark tinted windows so us lowly peons cannot see inside.
That is due to her position as First Lady. She still has to follow those rules. She has completely reinvented all the rules for First Lady, Senator and Secretary of State and now candidate for President of the United States. I would hate to be the person to decide which rules follow which situation. No she can’t do that because of First Lady...Nope not that because of Senator.....nope not that again told you because of Secretary of State she cannot do that. Must be a nightmare.
Her black van road trip to Iowa had all the charm of a funeral procession.
Hillliarly is still a lying, unethical and dishonest rat lawyer, who hates our constitution.
Me too. I laughed. I laugh every time I see it.
You know, speaking of Senator Clinton I still have not seen a scribbler or babbler raise the question of whether there were e-mail irregularities during her time in the Senate.
Anyway, I have not believed that she would be the Demrat Pres. candidate due to the newschimp and commenter monkeys proclaiming for so long that she WOULD be.
Her smiles look like drug-induced smirks.
Her image consultants have obviously concluded that Hillary is a lost cause. What we will see over the next two years will be the first COMPLETELY fabricated presidential candidate & campaign. There will be nothing spontaneous or authentic about it.
If she weren't running against a completely corrupt republican establishment I would say she didn't have a snowballs chance in hell. But, sadly...
One theory as to why nobody “recognized” or approached her in Chipotle or in the Jones St. Java House is that the several undercover Secret Service agents posing as customers were spotted, and would likely have shot anyone who got too close.
In effect, the 2015 Hillary Clinton is pretty much the 2004 Teresa Heinz-Kerry—and those old enough vividly remember how Heinz-Kerry was ridiculed by everyone on Free Republic (and many on the Left did the same, too).
Excellent! Did an old fashioned double take when I saw that. Perfect.
Just call her Abby Normal.
Cruz could tell the truth, but the American people won’t believe him.
No matter how outrageous, the American people still believe in HRC or want to do so very much to bring back what they think will be a “good economy”.
I remember early in the Jimmy Carter presidency, when things were already starting to slip away, he decided he was going to "get in touch with the common people" by having a weekly "fireside chat" on Saturday mornings - but in a talk radio format.
If you can dig up old recordings of those, they were hilarious. It was mostly crackpots and shut-ins calling in. I remember one guy from Buffalo insisting that Jimmy Carter call out the National Guard and truck all their snow to California, where they were having a drought (some things never change).
It only lasted a few weeks and SNL did a spoof of it with Dan Aykroyd.
Then Jimmah decided to "get down with regular people" by inviting himself for dinner with them and spending a night in their homes. One of the homes he visited was in my area, a Massachusetts town called Clinton (you can't make this stuff up).
It was so awkward. You have the president of the United States sitting in some guy's kitchen eating spaghetti and meatballs and making small talk as a bunch of cameras recorded the whole thing. The he went upstairs to a tiny bedroom to sleep. I'm thinking one of the kids had to sleep on the couch that night.
Next morning before dawn, Jimmah was whisked out of there and we never heard anything about it again. I might be mistaken but I think that was the one and only time he tried something like that.
