I would like to think this headline from Newsweek is simply being sarcastic, but I doubt this is the case:
Who Reported on Hillary Clinton's Historic Chipotle Visit, and How?
This headline was written by people who have no conception of what is and isn't historical.
SNIP
Hillary going to a Chipotle counter and saying, "I'll have a chicken bowl with a side of guacamole," is not historic.

little things amaze little minds . .
Hillary flashing gang signs in her college days.
Ohh my, when ever I have that historical moment it’s a splash of a cause to celebrate...
I don’t think I can take 2 more years of this sh**!
the Hindenburg fire and crash of 1937 was another (and not dis-similar) “historic event”
Well ??
Whenever I separate one half of the pizza from the other half from the pizza, is that considered secession from the Union ?
Why was it historic, because the one percenter hag stood in line instead of having one of her lackeys get her grub for her? I wonder how long it took for her to figure out how to get her food.
Yes. Clearly this is, as they say, a “game changer.” In the annals of flackery.
Nick, you have seen and heard south Florida “news” reporting....you know what passes for journalism in one of the most active cities outside NYC and LA.
The profession is no longer about facts and thinking, but about children who repeat the lies they’ve been taught in academia.
The press has leaned left for a generation, but now the children of the 60s generation are taking it a step beyond.
Would it pep everyone here to know that the comments after the article at the Newsweek website are all negative towards both Hillary and modern journalism? :)
Not only a cause to celebrate, but a cause to FLUSH :-)
During a 1992 campaign stop George H. Bush went into a grocery store and was amazed at the new technology of the checkout counter scanners.
Of course Presidential canadate Bill J. Clinton exploted the gaff made by G.H. Bush of the media making fun of G.H.Bush by being “ out of touch “ of the everyday working man...
Used to buy Newsweek for the graphics and the page of quotes......many years ago.
The worship has begun. The media are gearing up to paint Hillary as Queen of the USA.
Sounds like the clown on Wheel of Fortune that stated that the accomplishment of his life was seeing the President (His Arrogance) .... what a life!
Folks ? Remember George H. Bush’s supposed manufactured gaff and picture of him out in public at a grocery store of him checking out one of those checkout counter scanners ?
And how the media used that and made him look like a fool and Presidential canadate Bill Clinton took advantage of it and try to make G.H. Bush look “ out of touch “ with the common man ?
Ted Cruz should use that “ historical moment “ to remind people of how they treated G.H. Bush and how Hillary is getting a pass on it...
I bet she doesn’t even know how to use one of those de
credit card / debit card machines at the cashier’s counter..
Ted Cruz campaign ? Are you listening ?
When Hillary takes a dump in a gas station rest room, will that be historic?
On what grounds is her visiting Chipotle considered historic?
