Walmart has a history of closing stores where the employees protest for higher wages or unionize. An old story in Huffington Post reported last year on a Canadian Walmart that closed after the employees voted to unionize. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/06/27/walmart-closed-store-union_n_5538201.html

I’d think it would take more than one bad apple, no matter how well placed.
As someone else said, it’s very possible that the entire store was corrupt from top to bottom.
It doesn’t seem to matter the neighborhood either.
There’s a WM in our area that is one street away from 1/2 million dollar homes, and it is very “ghetto”.
The “greeters” looked like the “panther poll watchers”, the shelves were all in disarray. We were surprised.

I think the author might be Matthew Bracken, See Freeper Travis McGee, here is a post from today, look at the next post for an excerpt, discussing Walmart. His books are chilling! And good reads.

No sympathy here. Getting kicked out of the nest is a good thing. Don't like your pay? Go get a marketable skill that will make you more money instead of sitting around Wal-Mart crying that they're not getting it done for you.

If I had a nice aerospace job with Lockheed and went public with all kinds of accusations that Lockheed pays their people like crap, their benefits are crap, and their work conditions are crap, I wouldn't expect to have a job very long with them, either.

Probably. Maybe their new business model is: triple the pay with 1/3 the personnel.

Lou Dobbs had a phrase,”supranationals” on Fox Business News channel. supranationals are people like Hillary Clinton or Barak Obama. People who seem to be above the law. People who do appreciate American culture. He used the term new world order and said that the age of nation-states will go into a transition to the age of supranationals. It seems interesting that they would talk about that on a major network.

I don't think it's complicated at all. I have no first hand knowledge, but I'd bet a Benjamin they believe it's sabotage. That's why they are not forthcoming about details.

This sends a message to all...local communities, employees, and anti Wal-Mart activists. They will do repairs and clean house on known problem/disgruntled employees.

The Walmart in our area was built with a septic system not on sewer. The septic system failed after a few years to the point of full rejection. The store never missed a beat, never closed and had a pump truck parked at the septic tank cleanout daily. On a hot day it was quite floral. The plumbing problem does not wash for me.

Paris Hilton comes to mind. She’s got more DUIs, cocaine busts, and arrests off traffic violations (including one where she was driving 75 MPH in a 35 MPH zone at night without headlights on, violating her probation) than most of us have traffic and parking tickets combined lifetime. Her cocaine felonies were always reduced to misdemeanors, her community service was always signed off without being done, and she’s spent a grand total of 8 hours in jail. Any of us would’ve seen prison time. Her fines would be a lot to us. To her, the total is less than lunch and an afternoon shopping.
