Just asking because I want to know: what is the foundational reason for immigration legislation?

A mortally wounded Holder on the verge of indictment is far better than an emboldened, Marxist hack like Lynch.

Read my tagline. Money and power. Employers want cheap labor. Democrats want a dependent underclass that will vote for them to increase their benefits.

That is a reason for gutting immigration legislation. From what I can see, the reason for immigration legislation is to keep people out who want to come in.
Just wondering, if there were no immigration rules in the world for a period of say three months, where do you all think people would end up?
I might go to Tahiti.

Bingo............Conservatives and all Americans will rue the day that money and especially anonymous foreign and domestic money should be “freedom of speech”. Global corporations will work against USA sovereign interests as will foreign money (even from allies)as their interests are not our
interest. These policies have corrupted the USA.

The ultimate motive on these trade treaties has been to eliminate immigration law and borders and national sovereignty. Big global business wants freedom to manufacture and hire and import workers at their whim, without the nuisance of sovereignty and Constitution.

I think that presidents have the right to pick their team,
I agree with this in general, except when they are cut of the same cloth as Holder, who has proven that he cares nothing about Justice, and has been the most partisan AG in our history.
To: Rockitz
can’t wait to see jeb at the GOP debates..”I stood with harry reid to force a vote to replace one corrupt ag with another..and..I also wanted more acts of love of illegal immigration!!!!”

Jeb Bush is freakin' despicable. Why doesn't he just become a DemocRAT? He said the GOP should go ahead and allow the confirmation of Loretta Lynch because the President should be able to "pick his team". He then said that the longer it takes to confirm Loretta Lynch, the longer Eric Holder is Attorney General. Well, Jebbie, Eric Holder is a shining example of why the Prez should not have Carte Blanche in selecting "his team"; dumb ass.

So I guess Jeb thinks that the “advise and consent” CHECK on Presidential excesses is NOT needed.
But this is America — not some “Hispanic” country, whose Constitution does NOT limit what their dictators can do.
And (Knock-knock, Jeb! Wake up!) there ARE excesses....
