That is a reason for gutting immigration legislation. From what I can see, the reason for immigration legislation is to keep people out who want to come in.

Just wondering, if there were no immigration rules in the world for a period of say three months, where do you all think people would end up?

I might go to Tahiti.

The ultimate motive on these trade treaties has been to eliminate immigration law and borders and national sovereignty. Big global business wants freedom to manufacture and hire and import workers at their whim, without the nuisance of sovereignty and Constitution.
