Unless you live under a rock, you’ve heard by now that Hillary Clinton is running for president. Actually, even if you live under a rock you’ve probably heard that, or at least the collective squeal from the media before they slipped, satisfied, into their refractory period.
On Sunday, the former first lady released a Benetton ad, er, I mean a campaign video announcing she hopes to be the “champion” of “everyday Americans.” Who qualifies as an “everyday American” remains to be seen – the the video offers images of representatives of every “group” in the progressive coalition. But someone who hasn’t driven themselves in 20 years or whose family has earned $100 million in the last decade probably doesn’t qualify.
I also suspect someone whose daughter can afford a $10.5 million apartment in New York across the street from her husband’s $4 million apartment might not be in touch with whatever constitutes an “everyday American.”
And again, when that daughter is granted the gravitas to speak on “workplace inequality” while working for the family’s multi-million dollar “charity” and put on the cover of a national magazine with a slug line talking about “glass ceilings,” maybe that person isn’t exactly “in touch” with “everyday” anyone.
That is just a small glimpse into the cocoon from which the former senator from New York emerged before hopping into a van to drive to Iowa.
If Hillary’s campaign launch and “road trip” prove anything, it’s just how out of touch she is.
She’s on a month-long “listening tour” to “reintroduce herself” to voters in Iowa. Considering how much time she’s spent in that state since her husband first ran in 1992, more Iowans could declare her a dependent on their taxes than have no idea who she is.
But where she stands, why she wants to be president and what she will do should she win remain a mystery.
Her website has no “issues” or “agenda” page. None.
Just a week earlier, Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider and major recipient of taxpayer subsides, tweeted an attack on Rand Paul, senator from Kentucky and GOP hopeful, for not having a “Women for Rand” picture on his website (seemingly not noticing the available pictures were for professions, all of which are widely populated by women). Yet they didn’t seem to have a problem with Hillary’s lack of anything beyond a “give me money” link and a bio on her website. Weird, right?
And her bio reads like a condensed version of a photo caption.
It reads, in part, “Hillary attended public schools and was a Brownie and a Girl Scout. She played in a girls' softball league. She was raised a Methodist and her mom taught Sunday school. Her youth minister took Hillary to see Martin Luther King, Jr. speak in Chicago and helped her develop a life-long passion for social justice.”
Hero.
“After law school,” it continues, “Hillary chose not to go to a big New York or Washington law firm. Instead, she went to work for the Children’s Defense Fund…”
Double hero.
It continues, “After serving as a lawyer for the Congressional Committee investigating President Nixon, she moved to Arkansas where she taught law and ran legal clinics representing poor people.”
Triple hero.
Wait, why did she leave the “Congressional Committee investigating President Nixon” again? Oh, that’s right. She was fired for unethical behavior. Weird how her bio makes it sound as though she’d simply chased love, or at least Bill, to Arkansas rather than was given a box and an hour to pack her things.
The rest of her bio reads like a love letter to a mirror, omitting facts, glossing over reality and claiming credit for everything short of the sunrise.
That’s the kind of campaign she’s going to run, and that’s the kind of garbage the media will shovel out of their newscasts and onto their pages. Get ready for it, and buy boots because it’s going to get thick and deep very quickly.
In her launch video, in which she barely appears, Hillary accidentally let a little truth slip past her lips. “Americans have fought their way back from tough economic times, but the deck is still stacked in favor of those at the top,” she said. And she’s right. At least partially.
“The deck is stacked against you” is an awful message that tells people not to bother trying because no matter how hard they work, they’ll never get ahead (it’s been the aspiration-sucking mantra of progressives for decades). But in Hillary’s case it is true.
It’s futile for any other Democrat to challenge her; it’s futile for anyone to expect a fair shake from the media for someone whose main accomplishment in life is having married Bill Clinton (then spent the next 40 years looking the other way); and it’s futile to expect anything resembling the truth from her or her army of flying monkeys.
The reality is Hillary Clinton is a rabid progressive ideologue who spent her life trading on her husband’s name. She’s a life-long enabler of a sexual predator who traded whatever integrity she had for power and money. She’s a bored has-been with a sense of entitlement unrivaled in American public life who can’t bring herself to leave the national stage.
Yes, the deck is stacked. Against you. Against all of us. And Hillary Clinton is the dealer who helped stack it.

Yes indeed. In a just world she'd be in jail. Yet, here she is running for president.
I keep thinking about the footage from the Chipotle restaurant.
Hillary and Huma were buried in their devices, much like irreverent teens around a bunch of adults they’d rather would just disappear.
It’s what Hillary didn’t do, and the people around her didn’t do, that’s important.
Hillary didn’t attempt to engage the people. No “Hi, I’m Hillary Clinton, good to see you today. How are you?”. Why didn’t she attempt to engage? Perhaps because she knew she was not going to be around a bunch of bought and paid for sycophants? Maybe someone there would blurt out a difficult question?
Perhaps more importantly, does anyone believe for a minute she wasn’t recognized? What could have exuded from her that caused the people who actually like her, and there simply had to be some in the restaurant, to actually go over to her and engage? What message did her body language send that caused people to freeze in place?
When it’s not scripted and controlled, she’s apparently an ice queen. The Chipotle video makes it glaringly apparent that Hillary is the opposite of what she’s trying to portray.

She Who Must Not Be Named is the most ruthless and incompetent woman ever to stalk the halls of power. Never forget that she is a student and disciple of Saul Alinsky. She has used the Rules for Radicals extensively in clawing her way to the top.
Her ultimate goal has always been the Oval Office. Her boast of being “Co-President” was not idle hubris. When her legal career was thwarted after Watergate, she married into power, using William the Impeached as a stepping stone.
She then used the NY Senate seat as another springboard to power but was foiled again, this time by the Chicago Machine, who had already chosen Odinga to carry the party banner.
Examine her personality. She has the need to dominate. It’s not enough that people obey her commands; they must be forced to obey against their will, or the needed gratification is not derived.
She is a compulsive liar. She is a consummate fraud. She is a lesbian with a deep-seated hatred of the men who, in her mind, deny her her rightful place in history. Never again must she be allowed to approach the levers of authority, for that day will spell the doom of the Republic.
Doesn’t amaze me. Clearly she has patterned her entire life on Evita.

Obama put cadres of self-absorbed punks who are squatting in govt---imbedded in the Civil Service system. They are clearly disturbed and dysfunctional---obsessed with religious cleansing and kicking religionists to the curb.

The Obamas, The Clintons, the De Blasios, and the rest of the Progressive savages, are ruthless predators w/ no empathy for others and no remorse. They are anti-social psychopaths who recognize no moral boundaries--aggressively going after what they want, regardless of the consequences to others.
Hillary is precisely the wannabe the Founders guarded against---a power-monger with an army of acolytes, lying in wait to undo the govt that protects everyday Americans and our freedoms.
Seeing Hillary's "announcement" on a news segment was unnerving----arrogantly announcing her presidential whims amid struggling middle class people going about their business----she was downright scary.
Because taxpayers are struggling and Hillary has a $2.5 billion spending "limit"...and no opponents as yet.
Americans should be asking---why did this political retread raise $2.5 billion to get a job worth about $2 million w/ perks and free plane rides?
