I've never been on a naval vessel aside from the enemy sub at the museum in Chicago. I may go check out the USS Edson on the Saginaw river in Michigan though.

We sometimes take vacations just to tour a museum ship. Mrs. Henkster is a saint. You should do that sometime.

Please do, it will give you some appreciation of the living and working conditions a sailor lives through on a daily basis. Looking back on my time aboard several Navy ships, I wonder how we survived. LOL!
