This is the sort of wasteful, devisive filth our Defense Department has been infected with for many years. The last thing on Earth an effective fighting team needs is full-time, paid divisivists spreading lies and propaganda.

We need a complete flush of all these enemy agents from their paid sinecures in our Pentagon.

A Reưublican President will not purge the crap out of the military or the Bureaucracy. Even the best Republicans do not do that. Reagan didn't do it. He went around some swamps like the CIA but he didn't purge. Civil Service makes that kind of housecleaning impossible in the civilian agencies for a Republican though the Democrats always manage that. And Republicans expand the military but let the crap ooze away by slow attrition rather than firings.

The problem with our currently “enlightened” people, is that they look at history through the eyes of today’s reasoning and knowledge, and that is simply NOT fair to the great men of their time!

Basically, this idiot is saying that the first cave man, who discovered fire, was a complete imbecile. Sure, since you are trying to compare him to the knowledge of Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking! But in reality, that cave man was the bravest and smartest man of his day!

You cannot compare the documents of our history with the reasoning of today, because people simply did NOT have the same reasoning and knowledge at that time!

This is like going back and listing George Washington as our first President to ever be murdered! I mean, after all, he actually died due to a combination of a throat infection AND excessive blood loss through bloodletting! He was bled to death by a doctor!

These people are STOOPID on a completely different level of STOOPID!

Its news to me the Constitution was here in 1776. Maybe history is not their strong point?

A type of Aladdin’s lamp from Arabian Nights with a little bit of Cloward and Piven brainwashing directed at the minds of the American military. They couldn't use a Minaret (yet...) so they chose a lamp. Welcome to Obama’s Caliphate.

This is what Emperor Obama’s sycophants in the Pentagon have done to our once great military!

Subliminal brainwashing with a bit of in-your-face subtlety thrown in too boot. One would begin to think they aren’t even hiding Obama’s preferred religion any more.

Lamp: Knowledge

Yes, WHOSE knowledge? Whose beliefs?

If anything my impression from decades of allegories that conflate knowledge with light have been more on the side of "light a candle to counter the dark" or a lamplight representative of the founding of this country. The very LAST thing I'd associate knowledge with is an Arabic/Persian lamp.

I don't care what the official byline of this organization's says or purports to mean. Like porno, I know it when I see it.

It may seem like a minor point amongst the rest of the awful anti-American bullsh1t being spouted by our own defense department in this “course”, but the Constitution was written in 1789, NOT 1776.

1787. It was ratified in 1789.

We need to do a major purge in the DoD as well, seems that department is also filled with odumbo’s Muslim brothers.

The entire Federal government needs to be purged of Left wing kooks. Unions need to be disbanded and departments need to be closed. (Department of Education, Department of Energy, and Department of Commerce.)

But I don't think it's going to happen.

Exactly. On the surface one might think it’s just a lamp shining the light of knowledge on the world. But WHY this one? The typical vision of Aladin’s lamp from stories fashioned with Persian (now largely Iran) and Arabic influences. Damned odd to me, frankly.

That design of lamp has been used in books to designate scholarly wisdom as far back as I can remember. I think you are putting too much emphasis on it being an "Arab" lamp. I believe the Greeks and Romans used similar lamps.

Here is a Typical Roman lamp.

No, I'm not. A clay pot is a far cry from an ornate metal lamp with ornate flair.

We have far better examples in our country's own short and distinctive history than to go back and find examples of why it "really isn't a Muslim influence" to put Aladin's lamp on a damned DoD logo.

The Romans made those too. Just google "Roman Bronze Lamp" and you'll see plenty of them.

I will point out that the Roman era is a lot older than Islam. Those aren't "Arab" lamps, they are Roman lamps that the Arabs copied.

They could have used any kind of lamp for that purpose.

I suggest the Kerosene Lantern. I've been around them since I was born.

Go take a look at current visages of the type and look of lamp even the namesake of your ID represents. It just don’t wash. It is contrarian and pointless IMO.

Such a story would not be complete without at least an attempt at a heavenly view.

Even in the hypothetically best managed USA possible, it would still be in a world of sinners every single last one needing salvation.

I’m more sanguine about things since Christ keeps all believing souls although the mortal world may deteriorate. Believing is not an easy thing to embark upon. It requires really being sold on His eternal power.

It looks like a lame attempt to be classic with modern cut and paste graphics, and no sense of art.

Like the Obamacare website, which I at last visited last night in filling out my taxes. (Hey Judge Roberts, those ARE taxes, right?)

The lamp does look more Aladdin-ish than Roman. Roman ones were simpler.

It is typical to me of the unseen forces in control of this government.

In that one slide of a few dozen (apparently) of an online course we see just this one. One wonders what the rest show and more importantly what the tests certainly follow that gauge the level of material learned (I say brainwashing).
