Ted Cruz replies to reporter's question.

YES WE CAN !
“Damn! Hes good!”
He’s incredible. The way he so artfully and calmly refutes liberal premises and arguments is phenomenal. By the time he finishes his answer, the reporter is left with very little to say in response. Another huge plus is that he never gets the least bit defensive about anything, at least from what I’ve seen so far.
Do you agree with Ted Cruz that the Constitution overrides personal opinion?
The US Constitution’s entire reason for being is to LIMIT federal givernment..
Why it was written down, codified and chartered..
America HAS NO public opinion.. individuals do..
The US Constitution was made also to empower the minorities NOT THE MAJORITY...
The majority’s public opinion is meaningless..
Their power is in elections.. public opinion sends representatives to Congress..
The US Constitution TRUMPS public opinion..
Defines the playing field(s) for public opinion TO COMPETE..
Rights are given by “GOD” not givernment..
AND is the only givernment on this planet to do so..
Literally ALL other givernments grant privileges to their Serfs..
“We” have a republic NOT a democracy..
Democracy is indispensable to socialism.
The goal of socialism is communism. -V.I. Lenin
The meaning of peace is the absence of opposition to socialism .-Karl Marx
Ted “Theodore” Cruz, Esquire!
Half of them will have to, the illegal half.
Thank you.
Thanks for posting. I appreciate how Sen. Cruz politely listens to the questions and then gives a well reasoned, logical answer and draws the reporter into the answer by including him and pointing out his right to defend himself. He makes the reporter feel good about himself because he treats them with respect. Cruz is fun to watch.
That's why his election is so important. He can TEACH. Reagan was great, but I didn't learn very much from him. I learned a lot from Milton Friedman because he was a great teacher. Cruz is equally lucid.
They cant appreciate him—and that is the point. They love getting their few moments of fame by asking a national candidate a rehearsed ‘gotcha’ question.
And most don’t ever realize it when he deftly skewers them with a smooth response.
The writers are another breed and they will call him names, but nothing you can do about that.
I agree, but these are issues to be dealt with once a modicum of constitutional authority has been wrested back from the usurpers of the rule of law. What we are experiencing now was described in a post yesterday as Anarco-tyranny. The way back will be incremental with successes and failures. Anyone looking for the perfect candidate to wave a magic wand and restore us to a foundational constitutional government merely by his election as president would be better served tilting at windmills.
Public opinion has mutated into a cancer in this nation. It does not follow the Constitution. It does not consider facts and the weight of argument. It is what Mark Levin brilliantly spoke about on his show today. It is the “Totalitarian Mindset.” You speak to them about Hilary Clinton and you ask “What has she done?” They say, I don’t care what she has done. She will be the next President.” You tell them we are $315 trillion in debt and they say “It doesn’t matter, Democrats are for the people.”
It is the way totalitarians rule people. They starve a million people and say, “They deserved to die, why does it matter?”
For these narcissists it is my way or the highway, and the Constitution be damned.
I’m glad this video was posted on Thomas Jefferson’s birthday, since he’s quoted.
“The Constitution serves as chains to bind the mischief of government.”
Congratulations, Senator Cruz. Thank you for leaving this “reporter” a smoking wreck and may you become the President this nation so desperately needs.
If I can piggyback off your comment- yesterday, someone suggested that Sen. Cruz must be careful not to come off as “too big for his britches”. And as your comment suggests, I don’t think he will.
He’s spent his lifetime understanding that there will be those who resent the fact that he’s gifted-— I’m sure he’s trained himself to be respectful.
That’s the second time in the past few days that I’ve seen the essence of progressivism expressed in a very concise manner.
Send $$$$
He will need every dollar.
How far are you from the nearest swing state:)
I’m Albertan heh. Any real Americans are more than welcome to come visit and see this Texas of the north heh.
Cruz offers more hope and change than the moron currently in office. He’s going to be brilliant in debates. The press will do all they can to excoriate him.
a prelude to tyranny.... brilliant.
