There are two ways to look at privilege, receiving it and bestowing it.
I bestow privileges on on people who I think are a good investment. It costs me to privilege people. I avoid wasting my wealth and time on people who cannot use it, and will not retribute.
I strive to be a good investment for others who can privilege me. I hope am able to use their money and power to benefit them, and myself.
Proclaiming privilege to be public property to be shared equally among all people is one more way to for the socialists to redistribute wealth. It is plundering.

Wait to get married before having sex.
If you don’t wait, you will have to give up the child or give up school and marry that person. So choose carefully.
Being married is teamwork.
Keep your finances simple and clean.
Work hard and respect your spouse and/or your boss, even if he/she is a jerk.
House, feed, clothe and love your child.
Discipline your child fairly; do not spoil, do not abuse.
Read to your child.
Pray with your spouse and your child.
Don’t ignore your spouse or your personal grooming because you’re now married or a parent.
Stay married.
Settle fights with your spouse before going to sleep at night.
Save money for old age.
Take care of your elders.
Expect the above list also of your chlld.
This story reminds me of why I moved off-campus at the first opportunity when I was in college nearly 20 years ago. It’s been my experience that RA’s are among the most humorless, uptight, crypto-fascist people you’ll find at a university community. They come by this honestly, as they are usually trained by the folks in Student Affairs, who are among the most humorless, uptight, crypto-fascist human beings you’ll find on the planet.
I’ll never forget the time an RA accused me of being homophobic. My crime? One of my buddies in the dorm jokingly F-bombed me and I responded with “geez, at least buy me dinner first!” Apparently that counted as homophobia in the all-knowing RA’s eyes. And that was in the mid-90s. I can only imagine what would happen these days if that exchange had taken place.
