A resident advisor (RA) at Marshall University in West Virginia has placed a poster in a freshman dorm that attacks heterosexual Christian students by defining them as privileged.
Senior RA Jessie Swiger hung her poster in Freshman North, a co-ed dorm. Campus Reform reported the story and presents screenshots of the poster, as well as Swigers Facebook post defending her poster and a tweet in which Swiger justifies, Its not shaming. Its educating. Privilege exists as a result of racism, sexism, ablism, & classism engrained in society.
The poster itself, which is handwritten, equates privilege as not being asked how does sex work for you? and flesh colored matches your skin tone.
Examples of privilege Swiger provides on the poster are white, male, Christian, cisgender, and heterosexual privilege that youve probably never realized or thought about.
In a Facebook post, Swiger said, Im thankful to have been able to go through training and take classes that have helped me to understand and recognize privilege, what it is, and how it affects our brothers and sisters of the world.
As a person passionate about social justice, I feel this is an important starting topic that will influence other issues we face in society, Swiger continues. I know that I have privilege because as a white, middle class, heterosexual, cisgender, educated, Christian person I can post this and know that my point will be taken seriously and the only negative comments will come from other privileged people.
Swiger said there is no need to feel ashamed of being a member of a privilege group but instead should use it to recognize advantages that may have not previously crossed your mind that someone who is not in your group has to struggle or fight for more than you.

White academia is the biggest threat and parasite to America and that includes all Muslims, the inner city, Russia, and anything outside the borders.
In the normal run of things the “normal” folks will generally be more successful than the ones all tied up in their ethnic and sexual identities. They will therefore be the subject of envy for their prosperity and for their numbers. And Like tends to like and associate with like. Normal is the majority, and the majority tends to not associate with the abnormal minorities very much and normal people respect and admire people normal like themselves rather than fringe people who annoy them aggressively that being the reason for the epithet “normal” so there are more of them and they are everywhere. That is disturbing to unnormal people who thus desire that all normal people become abnormal or be banished or die.
It's all right there.
Sadly such an exhaustive and evenhanded treatment of the subject will rarely be read. The homosexualist supporters of today can’t digest something longer than a tweet.
And time for all believers in white privilege to immediately cease using ANYthing ever invented by white males.
These damn libs and progressives want to push that everyone who is white and normal owes them. They can do nothing except try their divide and conquer game. Sadly other libs allow this crap and the MSM goes along.
Poor, stupid kid still hasn’t figured out the
raison d’être for “privilege” is to fleece people like her, who have never owned slaves, out of “reparations” for people who have never *been* slaves.
Pray America is waking
Seems ripe for a discussion of affirmative action, "protected classes" and how "hate crime" laws only seem to apply when the "victim" is a member of a "protected class" and the offender is not.
Very good.
Students need to report these as offensive and discriminatory. File complaints and make the university respond on paper. That paper trail can leaf to trials and hit the school in the pocket book.
Because privileges are earned, and it is normal to work and earn privileges.
It is abnormal to not work, and to therefore be "under-privileged".
If abnormal people wish to earn privileges, they need to become educated, get a job and act honorably and responsibly.
Then, they too, can become normal. And privileged.
It’s a term designed to marginalize those who engage in heterosexual relationships. Just another of Baskin Robin’s 33 flavors.
So vanilla.
That’s odd, because I said “no thanks” to the F-Bomb, and nobody flipped out.
