Agree. The only city which is decent in my view is Charleston SC, though Savannah is not too bad.

And the 17th Amendment eliminated rural representation in the US Senate which lead to concentrating wealth in rural areas into the same hands that control the wealth in urban areas.

Used to be a time in NY when the GOP-majority outside the city could outvote them. Now it’s the city that drives the car, and they could care less about the rest of the state.
