My understanding is that Congress gave immunity to big pharma because they cannot reasonably guarantee the safety of any vaccine.

The Supreme Court ruled that the production of vaccines are “unavoidably unsafe”.

Not sure of the exact time but both in the recent past.

Wanna know unsafe? Unsafe is polio, whooping cough, diphtheria, etc etc,,,,

Every vaccine is far safer than the disease. This is a parlor game for moms who walk around talking about autism, irritable bowel syndrome, ADD, alar apples, fibromyalgia,, and other insane white female “diseases”.

Yep, which should render any attempt to make them mandatory legally impossible.

Not quite. In 1986 when a series of lawsuits threatened to end production of vaccines altogether, the Congress passed the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act. Included in the act was the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program.

If parents believed their child had been injured by a vaccine they could seek compensation by presenting their evidence to federally appointed judges. There is a list of known vaccine injuries which, if the case fits the template, are quickly compensable.

It was under this provision in 2007 that the issue of vaccines causing autism was adjudicated. The case fell apart under the scrutiny of actual scientific experts as opposed to opportunists hysterics and political camp followers.
