I agree, I was shocked when I heard that.
I'd like to see Obama on trial -- remember they had that stupid prayer service on the Thursday after the Monday bombing? The FBI spent Tuesday collecting footage from security cameras in the area and asking the public for any phone photos or footage taken by people in the area of the finish line. Then the FBI planned a press conference for 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, postponed to 1:30, then to 5:30 . . . then didn't happen. Obama came to Boston for the prayer service, effectively shutting down much of the city (and hampering the investigation, BTW). After Obama's plane had left Logan, the FBI finally had its press conference showing the pictures of the Tsarnaevs, etc. (The FBI agent sounded royally p*ssed!)
With all this delay, it looks as if the brothers could have made it to NY (where I heard they were planning to bomb Times Square) if their car hadn't broken down, so they hijacked that Chinese guy's car, all the while IIRC laughing and bragging that they had done it. If the Chinese guy hadn't been able to slip away and phone the police, they might have continued to cause mayhem.
Moochele visited in the hospital a Saudi guy jumped just after the bombing by a citizen who thought he was acting suspiciously; said Saudi rapidly gotten out the country.
Then when the FBI started questioning Tsarnaev (who had not been arrested or charged) in his hospital bed, a federal judge came to the hospital, interrupted the FBI, arraigned Tsarnaev, and wouldn't let the FBI continue.
All in all, I think Obama is at least an accessory after the fact . . .

FoxNews commentator said that the full sweep — guilty on all charges — showed that the jury showed no compassion. Had they found him not guilty on a minor charge, there might be one juror who votes against the death penalty. Since they voted guilty on all charges, commentator feels they will also vote for the death penalty.
New Hampshire is scheduled to do the deed—if need-be.

He’ll get the death penalty, but it will never be carried out. He should have to be made to straddle a pressure cooker filled with explosives. Then let a family member of one of those lost push the button.
