There is no Iran nuke “deal,” but whatever there is to the framework, even Obama now admits it paves Iran’s path to the bomb, albeit on a delayed fuse, as AP reports, Obama says Iran could cut nuke time to near zero in 13 years:
Defending an emerging nuclear deal, President Barack Obama said Iran would be kept a year away from obtaining a nuclear weapon for more than a decade, but conceded Tuesday that the buffer period could shrink to almost nothing after 13 or more years.
Obama, whose top priority at the moment is to sell the framework deal to critics, was pushing back on the charge that the deal fails to eliminate the risk because it allows Iran to keep enriching uranium. He told NPR News that Iran will be capped for a decade at 300 kilograms — not enough to convert to a stockpile of weapons-grade material.
“What is a more relevant fear would be that in Year 13, 14, 15, they have advanced centrifuges that enrich uranium fairly rapidly, and at that point, the breakout times would have shrunk almost down to zero,” Obama said.
It’s not at all clear that 13 years is the correct number, as opposed to 10. But regardless, the point is that at the end of this process Iran is ready to produce a bomb.

Even when Obama lies, he lies about his previous lies.
There’s no “delayed fuse.” Without surprise inspections, Iran will continue its nuclear weapons buildup.
There is no deal with Saudi Arabia either, who now is highly motivated to get their own.
Even if surprise inspections end up as part of the final agreement, you know that the Iranians will never let that happen. They will hem and haw and make excesses just like Saddam Hussein did.
Moreover, all of this “decade away from a nuclear weapon” is bunk. The Russians can now supply them to Iran at any time, and they probably have already done so.
Can we be real ?
Iran is not trying to ‘make’ one bomb. They have had the material to do so for quite a while. One nuclear bomb does not give on nation any power. If you used it against your enemy, you would then be defenseless against multiple enemies.
Iran is trying to get ‘enough’ nuclear weapons (bombs and missiles to deliver) ready so they can play their hand. Like a poker game, one must ‘ante up’ to continue in the high stakes game that World Politics is all about.
That is their goal, and this agreement is by Obama to let them continue on their way to that goal.
All this hype over “we don’t want them to get the bomb” is just to simplify things for the general public.
Many say if Iran had the bomb (nuclear weapon) they would use it. Which is odd, because of all the nations that have nuclear weapons, there is only one that has used it against an enemy.

Right. And with a one year break out period, it means they produce one bomb every year.
