In an interview with National Public Radio, President Obama said that it would be a "fundamental misjudgment" to require that Iran recognize the Jewish state of Israel as part of the nuclear deal. The condition, rejected by Obama, was one that Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu requested: A "clear and unambiguous Iranian commitment of Israel's right to exist," as Netanyahu framed it. -snip-- If suddenly Iran transformed itself to Germany or Sweden or France then there would be a different set of conversations about their nuclear infrastructure."

In the souk, they chuckle when they see Obama coming.
In 25+ years of peace proposals and peace agreements, every PLO or Arab negotiate has categorically and emphatically refused to include any language that acknowledges Israel’s fundamental right to exist and have even made public statements that Israel has no right to exist.
There is no way any country can negotiate in good faith with any entity that refuses to acknowledge that countries fundamental right to exist.
Bottom line is if they fail to recognize a country that has hydrogen nukes and probably neutron nukes, they probably won’t recognize the terms of any agreement.
