I do not think that owing money was a crime.

The Soviet Union had a crime called Profiteering in which, if your profit was too great, it was too close to capitalism and it was a criminal offense.

Wait, we have that here, NOW.

Aw crap.

No, the question is, what is the state going to do with all those cars?

Sell them to the next batch of marks that they will steal them from.

Thousands of Kansas residents tag their vehicles in certain other states, so they don’t have to pay Kansas personal property tax. Which by the way is outrageously high.

Multiple agencies across the state were able to purchase automatic license plate readers thanks to grant money they received from Homeland Security's terrorism prevention program.

False pretenses = fraud. Not really interested in who's giving the money to whom.

Property taxes make the concept of owning a home, disappear.

This is Virginia , you pay property tax on everything , the TV , the couch , the new dining set , the car... serves the gov’t workers that live there right.

Soon, anything government mandates which you fail to comply with, such as ObamaCare, will result in asset seizures, fines, assessments, jail etc.

For example, fail to comply and signup with ObamaCare will also be read and detected by the computerized plate readers. And your vehicle will be seized until you comply and pay.

Failure to comply and pay any taxes, fines, government mandates etc., and it will be read and they will stop you from driving your own vehicle.

They will make life miserable until you comply and obey.

You will be targeted at some point. They want your assets/money.

They’re already sweeping parking lots and side streets for those who might have failed to registered the same vehicle, which has already been registered by the same owner multiple times, over and over.

That’s a good point. I checked to make sure, and they actually do that too.

Yep, and "public accommodation" laws. There is no private property.

Virginia still holds the title on my vehicle because it has a lean on it.
It was paid off but they wouldn't accept the paperwork to release the title.
The title was transferred there from a KY title with the lean without any
problems at all, but if you have a lean they will not release it to be
titled in another state even if it had one when transferring there.

It's all very illogical to me but they hold your vehicle hostage to the state
until you jump through their hoops. And they have been on an extreme money
grab now since 2008. They fined me and prevented me from renewing my DL in
TX because I didn't inform them within thirty days that I had moved, but I did
when I went to the Tax office to be sure I owed no taxes and filed the proper
paperwork.

One Dept didn't get their filing so I got fined $200 and had to pay
to get my DL renewed. It's impossible to know what paperwork
to file to which department, and they've created a system to make
that happen. IE, if you don't know what to ask, how can you ask? VA has fallen into the liberal statist crapper.

False Intel is better (for us) than no intel at all. You’re right about that.

I'm sure next year the IRS will equip all patrol cars with facial recognition cameras too.
We live in an open air super max to go along with our already overpopulatated prisons.
Quite the society we've got here.

Is anyone else amazed at how technologically adept the police state can be to beat money out of us citzens, yet at the same time be so hortibly inept when it comes to alien invaders and the management of their email archives?

Kinda shows you what is important to the ruling class.
