That action wouldn’t end well for Iran...and they know it...so it won’t happen.

Sure they will try

With a crippled or sunken supertanker or a US nuclear powered aircraft carrier, as they have been practicing

But wait, they PROMISED John Kerry they wouldn’t do that if we give them everything they demand and ignore their threats as bluffing!

Yeah, whatever, the 6th Fleet is at Bahrain. I doubt they would just sit back and let it happen..

My response would be: “We begin bombing in five minutes.”, but unlike President Reagan, I would not be joking.

And this without nukes!

Imagine the blackmail if they already had them.

And our idiot in chief wants Iran to have them.

I couldn’t imagine Iran has the military capacity to close the Strait of Hormuz if the US Navy attempted to stop them from doing so, but given that a gutless community flippin’ organizer is occupying the Oval Office I definitely have my doubts that the US Navy would even try to stop them.

For all we know BHO made have negotiated a secret side agreement with them that the US Navy won’t interfere if they try to do so.

Some years ago Qadaffi closed the Suez Canal with a couple of mines dropped off a nondescript RoRo vessel

All it takes to close a strait is to make shipping traffic uninsurable

Iranians see Obama and Kerry as weak negotiators.

Are they bluffing or will they act. If they act, how will Obama respond?

Popcorn Theater.

You are correct. Make Middle East oil irrelevant. We might have to do something about our globull warming mongers first.

A fatal mistake on their part. Remember two things: Israel has already said this deal is a threat to their existence and they already have the bomb. Mix those two and Iran has a problem.
