Wesley Clark calls for carbon tax to boost national security
Oregonian ^ | 04/05/2015 | Richard Reeed

Climate change will be catastrophic to national security unless countries address it with measures such as a U.S. carbon tax, says retired Gen. Wesley Clark, who will speak Monday in Portland.

Clark, a former Democratic presidential-primary candidate who remains influential in policy circles, believes climate change helped cause the war in Syria and conflict across East Africa.

OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls the climates of all its planets.

3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

That doesn’t matter anymore. The climate Nazis will kill off half the human race to balance any change in solar output. Dumbed down and smoking enough legal dope to believe anything is why the masses will follow these evil leaders.

Wesley must be considering the catastrophic effects of global warming since the ice age, and projecting what is going to happen in the near future, if we don’t tax air. Stunning logic from a Hillary supporter. It’s just what Americans have come to expect from our leaders.

These retired leaders obviously have too much time on their hands. Don’t they play golf?

happy Easter back at you.

I map all springs I come across. Some very reliable ones are very slow this spring. Seems they have backed off on the strength of this storm.

Wesley, don’t you have a war to start somewhere, or something?

How is a tax going to change the climate?

What a maroon.

Hey Wesley - would you be OK with a carbon tax where all proceeds go directly to oil, energy and utility companies to fund R&D for next gen energy techniques? If they want green energy then it seems they would be OK with carbon taxes going directly to energy companies rather than to the government which has nothing to do with producing energy. :-)

I wonder if he's still obsessed with the enemies' conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.... ;-)

Listen to him on this issue of how a carbon tax would enhance our security. He’s a general. He must know. /S

The lesson here: He was a Clinton-era political general. Political appointees in positions of power are very dangerous, except when they are merely overpaid, corrupt, and incompetent.

Whistleass needs to shut the hell up. We’ve got open borders and invaders are coming in by the thousands on a daily basis. There is no such thing as “national security” in America anymore. The boy needs to wake up, shut up and try to focus.

Wesley Clark calls for carbon tax to boost his national income.

That is probably closer to the truth. I don’t know how, but I am betting that such a move would benefit him financially.
