Coulter: Republicans Have Responded ‘Very Badly’ to Religious Freedom ‘Nonsense Story’
Breitbart ^ | 04/04/2015 | Jeffrey Poor

Posted on 04/04/2015 10:28:06 AM PDT by E. Pluribus Unum

On Saturday’s broadcast of “Fox & Friends Weekend,” conservative commentator Ann Coulter criticized Republican politicians, particular the potential candidates for the party’s 2016 presidential nomination, for their responses to the controversy surrounding Indiana’s Religious Freedom Restoration Act.

According to Coulter, it shouldn’t be up liberals to dictate what Republicans react to and she cited a litany of so-called “fake stories.”

How can the Republicans respond when they have no mainstream media to back them up?

BS Ann, we raised money in support of them and we started to stop the brown shirts, we are not choosing the battles but we can’t run from the brownshirts anymore.

Got a better question: Why should Republicans have to respond at all? Why isn’t the media asking the questions that should be asked? Such as why would anyone need a law ‘granting’ the ‘ability’ to ‘bring up the defense’ of ‘religious conviction.’

A point that seems missed so far is that if traditional Christians can be compelled to serve pizza for a gay wedding, they why can’t liberals be required to, for example, serve pizza at a Second Amendment rally and gun show or otherwise be compelled to be a vendor to and serve such an event? Or at a rally for traditional marriage and against gay rights legislation sponsored by a fundamentalist church?

What response is there to back up?

A complete cave?

A finger in the wind?

Trying to take both sides?

No response?

Attacking Christians?

The gay lobby is going far beyond “acceptance”.

They are demanding endorsement, promotion, and PARTICIPATION in homosexual fake marriage.

In the case of the photographer, he is being FORCED, under the law, to take pictures of two men kissing, during the wedding.

There are many atheists who would be grossed out by that.

The Catholic priest who is on Fox all the time said that the real goal is to eliminate the tax protected status of churches.

And he’s exactly right. I see this sentiment all the time. It’s also an attack on capitalism.

Close. Their real goal is to eliminate religion. The homosexual lobby is simply the most convenient means available to them at the present time.

Think about that for a moment...what would be the problem? The payroll that the so-called “clergy” gets should use up most of the “revenue” stream. If the balance is used for maintenance and repair and other operating expense...the thing should be non-profit anyway. Now, if you need to build a great big gilded edifice...

You have to look for commonalities in the leaders of the Democrat Party.
What are they?

Are they all Moslems?
Are they all homosexuals?
Are they all rabid environmentalists?
Are they all feminists?
Are they all socialists?
Are they all peaceniks?

No.....I don’t see any commonalities there.

They like money for themselves and their families.

BINGO!

What part of Article 1, Section 8 gives federal government the power to tax any church? That is the question.

Just because you like the federal for-profit and not-for-profit catagories doesn't mean everyone accepts it as legitimate. As far as I'm concerned, the federal government needs to be reduced back into the Constitutional box it came in.

Ann was sucked up in the Mitt Romney feeding frenzy and bought in hook line and sinker. I dont give a tinkers darn what she says about anything “conservative” I am 67 years old and have my own mind and templates to decide what I do or don’t believe in and I dont need an anorexic broad to tell me that politicians are stupid

You are right. Until the leftist media propaganda machine is smashed, things will not get much better.

Just going by the headline, I'm not surprised. Many Republicans aren't Conservative. Even worse, they don't have any Constitution within themselves, as they partake in eroding the nation's Constitution.

Sidenote: Love her new article and her little jab at Jon Stewart. XD
