University of South Carolina Suspends Student After Finding This ‘Racist and Uncivil’ Message
The Blaze ^ | Apr. 4, 2015 | Zach Noble

School President Harris Pastides said in a statement:

Today, the unfortunate and disappointing act of a student in a study room has challenged the Carolina community to reflect on our values and tell the world what we believe. Respect for all is at the heart of the Carolinian Creed, the code by which we agree to abide. Racist and uncivil rhetoric have no place at the University of South Carolina.

We have taken appropriate actions to suspend a student and begin code of conduct investigations.

Universities are full of tenure-protected LIB asshats who don’t respect others’ freedoms.

Tasia Harris, a senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, said racially charged events in society are “blatant reminders that this is something that continues to affect our lives.” She is among students who are trying to get a plaque placed next to a Confederate soldier statue on her campus, explaining its history.

“White supremacy isn’t just in Ferguson or isn’t just in New York or isn’t just Cleveland or where have you. It’s also in these very privileged sites,” said Omololu Babatunde, a North Carolina senior.

So if someone listens to rap music that repeats the n word over and over and over... is that person violating civility?

What if the listener sings along, repeating the n word over and over and over out loud in public?

What if the listener/singer is black?

What if the listener/singer is white?

Is either in violation?

Both in violation?

Exactly. Freedom means also the freedom to dislike anybody or anything.

“-are commonly overweight
and are mind-numbingly stupid; a safe assumption to make would be saying they’re uneducated (as if they could pass the 4th grade)

If spotted, please report to the authorities, notifying them that they are possible smack addicts, or potential, degenerate Chaka Khan look-alikes.”

Wall Mart’s WIFI must blow too.

This was in the article but unfortunately with the woman's face pixelated out so more evidence will have to be discovered before a verdict is possible (other than terminal stupidity).

There is a photo of her doing it. Suspend her. Then ask questions, see if others were also involved. She’s guilty unless someone had a gun to her head.

If they are going to suspend everyone that uses or broadcasts The N Word™ then they are going to have an all white campus.

There’s the first amendment, then there is decency and civility. Racial epithets are completely outside the bounds of either. Of course the girl should be suspended. She would be in a public high school, too.

Also, is there also a a freedom of speech right to be a racist jerk?

When I was in college 13-odd years ago there was a student code of conduct we agreed to abide by. I'm sure dropping the n-bomb was a violation and they could, and probably would, expel us for it.

Look at it this way. Anyone who is a "racist jerk", as you put it, and is eager to display it is probably too stupid to be in college in the first place.

This all reads like a phoney set up story.
Bringing in race on a critique of wifi??
Reads more like agiprop.
But this alleged ‘real’ event does inflame and distract from other stories of the day, like the crash of the ObamaEconomy.

She obviously meant the wifi was “miserly”, having written, or misspelled, “niggardly”
