World will lift "all sanctions," timing undecided; enrichment to continue; Obama: This is our best option.

Hailed as a breakthrough by the United States, by the European Union and by Iran itself, Israel quickly criticized key tenets of the deal. But all parties agreed the moment was historic, for better or worse.

Under the deal, cast as an “understanding” framing the parameters of a larger, more technical agreement due by June 30, Iran will be allowed to continue the enrichment of uranium and will close no facilities.

Its kinda funny how the US news outlets seem to be holding back on reporting this until they get their story straight from the administration.

Doesn’t this have to be approved by 2/3 of the Senate?

Neville Chamberlain loved his country and eventually realized his policy of appeasement was wrong. He then led a coalition to declare war on Nazi Germany.

0bama is way worse than Chamberlain.

I have often noticed how infatuated Obama is with the idea of doing something "historic."

Beyond disgusting.

To be approved as a Treaty, it does, but even if it’s not a “treaty” Obama can still implement the conditions written up there. AND ... the other nations who have implemented sanctions, can remove them, and the Senate has absolutely no control over those countries. Any sanctions by the USA ... alone ... are basically USELESS with all the other countries openly doing business with Iran, so that Iran can bypass the USA. That’s how Obama bypasses the Senate!

“Doesn’t this have to be approved by 2/3 of the Senate?’
_______-

If this was a treaty they’d need a Senate vote, but this expires when Obama’s term is over, and I don’t eve think that this has come far. I think they have some other agreement that has to be “worked ot by June”.

This is just an attempt by big money concerns to get sanctions lifted so they can get back into Iran and their investments.

“If Iran cheats,” Obama added, “the world will know it.”

We'll know it by the big smoldering radioactive ruin of what use to be D.C. or Jerusalem. Yup, that will be a big ol' clue that they've been cheatin'.
