The problem with that spin is that is what business owners in the 50s said about blacks. It is tricky to separate that and the debate now in the minds of liberals and public school skulls of mush.

Plenty of businesses in the 50s and 60s were against segregation for the simple reason that it cost them money. Don’t be Fooled by the rewritten charicature of the 50s that is described today. The market would have cleared out the numbskulls quite nicely.

I just can’t see many businesses discriminating on basis of race these days. If they did, I would think that they would lose business with that reputation. Let the gov’t tell you who you have to hire and who you have to serve and what is happening now is what you get. Like the fat women suing to work at hooters. In CA the employers have to allow an employee to cross dress.
