I don’t know about that, but a radio news report this morning said that 10 of the 11 defendants who were found guilty were led away in cuffs immediately after the verdict was read. The remaining defendant is pregnant and wasn’t immediately jailed.
I beg to differ. These people were not “educators” because if they were they would not have to cheat to meet the requirements.
They were baby sitters.

The bastards have concluded the Gipper’s Berlin Wall speech was “evidence of increased assertiveness and bellicosity” on the part of the US.
I wanted to cry when I read about this in today's WSJ (p A15, editorial by Lynne Cheney.)
This exam is for high school students hoping to get into top colleges and universities. It's just sickening...
And so, yesterday’s afternoon news here in Georgia led off with several groups, one led by one “victim’s” lawyer were complaining about the injustice of these “educators” being locked up after they were convicted. Also complaining about how these “educators” aren’t the Mafia and the RICO laws shouldn’t apply and how what they did wasn’t all that bad - they’re just educators (who apparently cannot educate).
They stopped just short of saying they were convicted unjustly because they are all black. Of course they couldn’t because of the black mayor and black prosecutor, but I’m sure how they’ll get to that bastard racist white judge who locked them up soon.
What these media events show is that a lot of them really believe that protesting - redefining what is and should be - are prime considerations, even above the law.
They are still in jail and they will remain there until sentencing - good on that judge.
The left’s protests are just organized theater from a handful to many.
Of course their mediots make a handful look like a very large mob.
